I moved to a new server and the cmps_index.php stopped working. It just shows a blank page. :(
The chdir is correct and I have reinstalled the templates and phrases. Nothing seems to fix it. :(

My forum name is Blam Forums, but on cmps_index.php is says "Blaminator", how do I change that?

G3MM4 09-25-2004 08:56 AM

Can someone help a n00b to set this up please?

cmps pulls info like that from the vb options (I believe), so I'd check there for a setting with "Blaminator" in it.

For some reason In the navbar it's not saying my forum's name next to the little folder, but it still does on my forum page, just not on the homepage. Anyone know what's wrong or how to fix this?

macker123 09-28-2004 06:06 PM

I seem to be getting the following error when I try to run the install script and same error when I goto my forum now:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in /home/myphotos/public_html/forum/includes/functions.php on line 1887

I have triple checked(literally), every single piece of code I was supposed to insert and it is all correct. I have also uploaded the files twice, with 2 different FTP programs to make sure they were uploaded correctly.

Can someone please help me solve this issue.

It should work fine... you may have to tweak the links in your header & footer to be qualified though (eg: instead of "register.php" you'll need to change it to "$vboptions[bburl]/register.php", etcetra).
