Worked great, John!

Still one minor issue though. I can post small articles and I can include more content to existing articles, however if I post one LARGE article, nothing will be added (nothing includes, title as well as content).

Now, ive read through all posts in this thread, and im making a guess that the following post indicates the problem I am having:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....&postcount=195

If this is by design, what would I need to do to alter this so I can post large(r) amounts of text at one time? If this is a bug, is there any immediate plans to fix it?

Thanks again for a great mod!

It is a clean install of this hack...

When I navigate to the article.php - and then click on either 'Main Catagory' or 'Main Sub-Catagory' - I get an SQL error as follows...

Database error in vBulletin 3.0.3:

Invalid SQL: SELECT * FROM article
WHERE categoryid=2 AND (articleuserid=1 OR open IN (0,1)) ORDER BY dateline DESC LIMIT 0,
mysql error: You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 2

mysql error number: 1064

Also - I can't see any buttons for adding a new Article - I figure they are on the next page but cant get that far because of this error...

I have removed and re-added using the install file - but still the same :(

Sorry - any assistance greatly appreciated
Cheer

Not sure what happened - but my other admin was able to view the Articles, post articles the whole 9 yards - I then re-checked and now I can see it all - no probs...

Got no idea what changed - so can't elaborate...

In response to spence2 - I have VB3.0.3 - I have rolled it through all upgrades since RC2 of VB3 - and yeah it now works.... although no idea what caused the initial SQL errors I was getting..

Cheers for a cool hack :D

very handy, very handy indeed.

I'm thinking of using a section of this for my members player sheets. Is there anyway to prevent extra spaces in posts from being removed?? Our character sheets have tabbed columns, and when posted, those are removed (the extra spacing that is).

Just wondering if there is an easy way to go about this??

Thanks for the wonderful hack!!!!!

Did anyone find a way to fix the thumbnail issue in vb 3.3??

Hey would it be possible to make this an add-on for any of the Portal systems on vB.org? I think this would be perfect for a Review section for my Zelda site I am in the process of making. Thanks to anyone who replys.

Edit: Nvm I found a place on the Add-on section of the vB3 hacks, and it should do what I want. Great hack I will install this later.
