I can't tell you because this new version seems to have broken my board. Apparently, disabling all plugins and products via the config doesn't disable this product, so now when I log into the ACP, it constantly refreshes, won't stop, and I cannot do anything.

Judge Dredd X 05-27-2012 06:57 PM

Reverted to 1.3.5. ACP is still refreshing.

It doesn't seem to be the mod causing this.

I am getting permission errors, I am the super administrator on my VB and states I cannot view the PHP file.

Is there any additional permissions I need to set other than the ones on the CP?

I just added 1.3.6 which should fix both these issues. Let me know if you still have any problems.
Thanks

Does this let you include external downloads links like in DownloadsII? Instead of having the files uploaded on the site could you just put the link in it and would basically be the same thing but hosted externally.

There are usergroup permissions and there are module permissions in the left pane downloads section of the ACP.

If those are both set right, what error are you getting exactly? If you want, send me a PM with the site and an account that has permissions to upload and I'll take a look.

This was a fix for the navigation changes in 4.2, I didn't add any new features. Currently all the files are hosted locally. Having external file links is an option that is on the list of things to look into when we plan out the next version.

So you will be adding something like this soon?
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/
Instead of using the site to host files but just put an external link and have that as the download correct.

Anyways appreciate the reply! Thanks :)

Probably something like that yes. It probably will be a basic link to another site with the option to display different text. Not sure when we will work on the next version though.

Hi,

Thanks for this mod, it looks like what we were looking for moving forward from DownloadsII...

However, I'm having trouble using the Import function. When I try to run it, after specifying the source and destination paths I get an SQL syntax error:

Database error in vBulletin 4.2.0:

Invalid SQL:

);

Any ideas why this comes up? The syntax seems correct to me... :-/
