i'm guessing the upgrade process is just to upload the new files?

OK.... so i uploaded the new files ... now i can no longer long in to the forums via tapatalk pro. I uninstalled the client side app and reinstalled it and tried with more then one account. just keeps on bumping me back to the log in screen. help.

will you PLEASE start putting the update logs here so we know why/what's being updated? going to the tapatalk forum to get these things is not efficient.

Hi,

We have just updated the Android app with Widget support so now your member can add your forum icon to the phone home screen and jump to your forum directly without launching Tapatalk icon.

It also shows the user name and forum name too. I will post a screenshot here shortly. :)

well yes and no, we should do better job as making sure the default permission correct when unzipping directly on the server.

No unfortunately iPhone does not have the concept of widget. But we are going to roll out Private Message notification on iPhone in next update or two!
