Yes, thats true. Such modification would be a wonderful addition to the functionality that the MAD&P is offering.

Will do. I have a different ban-oriented modification that I'm about to release for public consumption. Keep an eye out for it.

That is a common error when you have not uploaded the files correct, try uploading them again and it should fix your error :)

Just like gamerscms said, you have to upload the files in the correct way. Make sure that the /madp/ folder is uploaded to the forum root and also make sure you uploaded all of the files within /madp/.

Yes... No one has said it hasn't

Kiros72 05-01-2009 08:41 PM

Confirmed! This works perfectly on all vBulletin 3.6, 3.7, and 3.8 versions.

Just to get that out there ;)

The deal with using Chrome in 'incognito' mode is that it clears the cookies after closing it.
This means that a user that closes that browser and reopens it, won't trip the detector after
logging in with another identity, though we know that he/she may trip it when trying to log
in with an alter ego before closing that browser.

Firefox has the same option. That's why he has the IP checker in there too...

Mhmm! Unfortunately, I still need to get IP checking into the login feature, but as of the current version, IP checks can be done during registration. Therefore, even if a person is using Chrome and thinks that he/she is being cunning by using Incognito Mode to register a new account, it will still catch them. Of course, the IP address feature needs to be enabled if you want it to check.
