I want your version Zachariah....much better to use tables instead of profile fields.

Thanks for all your hard work.... :) Awaiting patiently. :cool:

Oh yeah, 3.6.x version is needed. Thx!

I too want to see zach's version........I just did this update so that i could have it again on my site.........was missed badly.

I also did some more reading, and you may get away without doing my install manually by running these queries 1 at a time:

PHP Code:

ALTER TABLE `vbprofilefieldADD `titleVARCHAR25 NOT NULL AFTER `profilefieldid` ;

PHP Code:

ALTER TABLE `vbprofilefieldADD `descriptionVARCHAR250 NOT NULL AFTER `title` ;

So instead of doing my manual edits, just run the queries here one at a time, then do the file edit's per the original instructions.......minus what i wrote in the instructions.....

I am getting better at this, it's just taking me some time to learn........I don't have anyone to ask questions from, so i have been doing this by trial and error, but this mod does work, i garuantee you it does.
To the person that had the error's, try going back into your phpmyadmin, select vbprofilefield, then put a check mark in title, and delete it. Put a check mark in description and delete it......then run the above queries instead.....should write right to the field for you......

Just making sure I got all of this straight before I go in and destroy my database, etc...

I'm running vB 3.6.1. Currently I do not have vB Timeslip Database installed.

What should be my first step? Run the database querys first? Install this mod first?

Just making sure first before I screw things up.... ;)

Thanks to all who are working to make this available to us 3.6.x

Mark

First thing to do is the file edit's in deathemperor's instruction's.......have everything ready, and just before you are supposed to add the deathemperor's .xml, do the database changes.....i redid them and if you follow the link on post , all you should have to do is run a 2 queries and you will be done with that......then upload the .xml and you are done......Only difference between these queries here and the one's in this post is the default 'aa' and 'a'.......you will be good to go.
