It is well worth the money in my opinion though, theres normally new games released every single day and there's some great new hacks in the pipeline too.

The owner of that site is responsible for a hell of a lot of the hacks which people have in the first place, thanks to his generosity of releasing them on here or v3arcade.com (before it went offline). He also comes in very handy if any problems aise as he offers superb support and will even go so far as doing custom hacks for people if they are possible and if they are asked for.

Shame to see v3arcade.com vanish so suddenly though, iv'e been waiting for news about the version 3 for ages. :( Kind of puts a big doubt on whether that's going to happen at all now. :(

I hope that anyone who sells games they didn't create without permission gets sued.

Besides, the site isn't down for good. It'll launch with the next version, but with much tighter checks on game releases.

Don't plan on seeing very many games when the site comes back. Very few people actually got a responce to permission requests!

Where can you get at least 1000 copyright free games?

There is no grey area. If they are making a profit off of those games in any way, it is the same thing as selling them. ;)

The people who run the site are making money off other people's work. It doesn't matter how they phrase it, that's wrong.

What really ticks me off is that these a***oles are making money by selling the result of other people's hard work and effort. What have these people contributed to the community? If you asked each of the authors who made the games on these sites if they wanted their work to be sold by someone else, what do you think they'd say?

If you think the games offered on either www.v3arcadegames.com or www.v3arcade.net are 'copyright free' (whatever that means) then you are very gullable

bitg from the forums has an FTP server where he's hosted a lot of games, here: ftp://63.193.147.196/

He seems to have removed banned games from the server. Although I very much doubt that most of these games are "copyright free" or authorised for use on sites.

So while games are available there, you'll need to check with the authors if you're allowed to use any of their titles on your site.
