Fixed it in the code for 2.5.1

I'm making the last changes now so you can all upgrade again later on ;)

I have upgraded to the new version but the allignment is not correct for my style. Before the upgrade I used this thread to fix it and worked great https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....&postcount=782

But what do i do to fix the width on the new version?

The width and height can now be set in the admincp settings

Can you please add one more fix? The encoding of the XML file is ISO-8859-1. Is it possible to use current language encoding instead of setting it to "ISO-8859-1" by default?

This version is purely to show members that want the be on the map.

The HSE is intended for landmark, bars, sites, people, places to visits, .....

HSE also includes the option to add full description. The next version will include Google Earth support and comments.

Is there a default code string in vbulletin for that one?

There is HTML Character Set in the language settings for each language.

I am a bit confused as to which one to install. Is there not a version that does it all? I am looking for a way for my users to show where that are. However, I also want to be able to put in landmarks. Maybe even allow my users to put in their own landmarks.

A lot of sites want the functions split.

But they are both build so that they can run both at the same time.

Also if you have a lot of users and hotspots it does tend to get crowded.

Can users add to the Hotspot edition?

There appear to have been a few updates to version 2.5.0, a change to this version number might help differentiate the version available for download and what we may already have downloaded, eg 2.5.1 or 2.5.0a.

Yes, you can add a usergroup or usertype as a category.

There is unlimited category suppport.

In the member edition this is automatic.

It's still not picking up the correct user groups - an ex moderator is still showing as a mod. I have edited their marker as well, but it has not reset it.

Also, what do you think about the "additional groups" members overriding the colours for my donated people?

The update of the usergroupid works only if they do the update.

Overriding the colours? please elaborate?

no luck... user permissions still not showing up in usergroups for ME, though I still have the ones for hotspot

am now going to upgrade to 3.5.4 from 3.5.3, though I doubt this is what is causing the problem

the update fixed my permissions problem but now on the main map the user markers are all gray, when you list them they are correct but not on the map :(. Also the online graphic marker has disapeared (the green dot).

Did you do step 10?

Otherwise just click "your entry" and click update it will force a reload.

That should fix it.

I'll make it so that a change in admin cp also is directly reflected on the mainmap (on todo list)

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I can't edit my entry in firefox, I can delete it but not change it. Seems fine in IE though.

Also, in firefox, my "using normal URL" field is empty, but not in IE

Run the cron job - as stated in the PDF.

As wachtmeister said complete step 10 of the program or click your entry and update once to get the cycle running.

I did the upadate at my testarea.
i did the update like it is shown in the "reade me.pdf" ->
but i get an Error:
I reinstalled and installed the produkt again => after this evrything works fine!

Quick question .. do secondary usergroups override primary usergroups for marker colours?

I get the usergroup from the GPC from vbulletin so it should be the primary but I'll have to check.
