i love this AddOn thanks. But i have one question. Sometimes user klick the wrong button, how i can delete wrong klicks? EDIT, oh i read now, it is only able in the pro version? But sorry, this i a "need" function. I am really confuse. OK, i have delete it over the database |

The importer imported the Thanks from the other mod but, did not update the Thanks Given, only Thanks Received.

Just wanted to let you know that I think that your module is superb, but the price is way too high for me to justify a purchase. The increased functionality of your version over the free Post Thanks hack is not enough to warrant a $65 expenditure, which, I would like to point out, is about 1/4 of the cost of a full vB license. At that price, I will stick with the free Post Thanks hack. If you decide to drop your price to something more reasonable, please PM me and I will consider switching.

The problem where ALL search result postbits were being replaced by "-= Hiden Content =-" comes from the edit to the file /vb/legacy/post.php. I removed this edit and search results for posts were being displayed properly.. There probably needs to be some kind of conditional statement in the code..

I've installed, works fine, but the admin that I've Thanks had a mysql thanks error, so I try to uninstall, reinstall, uninstall, and still have a mysql problem.... I've tried to delete manually table in database, but problem still here.... Could you help me please ? I think (but might be wrong) that since updating to 4.1.10 when i make a post that needs thanking to be viewed it then makes all replys need a thank to view too ? Im sure it never did that before ? Any ideas ? |

I've been using the VisionScipts hide/thanks mod for a vb3 forum, and we're gonna be migrating to vb4 soon. Since VisionScripts projects are dead, I'm looking at switching to this one.
One of the main features that thanks mod offers (and it's a really simple one) is it has an admin option for bumping the thread when the user hits thanks (it's a per-forum setting). Does this mod have it? If not, would you consider adding it? Bumping a thread is pretty trivial in vb3 (just have to update the thread lastpost time). |

Please ensure you're set up as Super Administrator via config.php to see the like thanks in admin panel :)

Does this suck up on the database space? I have a buddy using phpBB3 and his database size doubled using a "thank you" plugin. Also, are these errors fixed? I don't want to install something that's going to be break my board while installing, or whilst uninstalling it. Thanks. :)

I own the pro version and need a more complex hide solution for my forum. You reminded me this was not a hide hack lol..which i'm well aware so I asked David would he be interested in integrating his hide hack with this one. I think it compliment to both awesome mods.

There have been no updates to the Pro version either - Lite and Pro are usually both in sync unless there's a Pro-only beta version (which there's not currently).

I am having an issue, probably a stupid newbie issue. :)
When I click the thanks/like button it acts like my girl friend and ignores me. :) I hovered over the icons and I see javascript:// and there's not file there. I'm hoping that will give you an idea of what I missed. I tried to go through all the previous post in this forum but didn't see anyone else pull this goofy move that I must have. :) I've gone through the files twice to make sure I uploaded everything, they all appear to be there. I use Hostgator they don't allow 777 but 755 has worked on everything else. I was unsure if I was to set the permissions on all folders and files to 777 or just that one folder, the last one in the structure. I tired it both ways. Thanks for the help. |

I was using this in conjunction with (Modcp Option) hack - moderation of new user registrations under version 4.1.10, on upgrade to that version the notifications for that other hack stopped working, once I disabled advance post (lite) all my notifications started working again for user moderation.
For information - I had notifications for Advanced Post Thanks switched off though it made no difference to the status of the notifications for the other hack when I switched them back on again. Unfortunately I can't live without my mods running new user registrations without admincp access so this had to go. Much <3 |
