After my maintenance release any future custom created gifts will work for both big/small. The ones made before 3.0.1 won't work for the big icons.

You're probably tired of this...any news on the 3.8x?

Are there any plans to have a page to show all gifts received. What I mean by this is have the profile box show only say 5 gifts but with a link to "view all" and it will show all the gifts received by that person along with who sent it and the reason (without having to scroll over the gift)?

Or is there a way to do this now?

I am in debugging mode on 3.8.

user names are still showing as code when they have had the colour option added, this is particularly painful when you get a pm and you reply and have to delete all the code from the username before you can send it

How to check points transaction history?

installed this on a Test Frm to take a look and decide if I want to try it on my live site, however, the Shop part of the Market doesnt showm despite having several items set up in it (with qty of 10 each).

I tried searching but didn't find this, is there a way to add post text size as a market item?

This is caused by an upgrade that didn't work correctly. To fix this, please go to the Admin CP, Point Market, and underneath the Maintenance section there are two things you should run. First is the table checker, which will ensure all tables are installed with the latest settings, the second is a field checker, which will check all fields. This will add any fields that haven't been added yet.

Go to the Admin CP, Point Market, Under Market Settings make sure that the store part is enabled. If if is, please pm me and we will see what is going on.

Couple New Issues:

1. No Gift or Store items are showing in the postbit,threadbit,etc. (Once purchased, they don't appear anywhere.)

2. No PM's are being received by admin when a purchase is made. No emails are received either.

3. No PM's or emails are received when an item is "Shipped"

If I was to use Vbactivity what would I enter here?

Enter the field that the user will gain points from this currency purchase. This field can either be a point field already entered into the Point Market or a new field as long as it is located in the user table.

I understand the question , If i want a member to purchase 100 points for $1 where will the system place the points in the database table.

Which one would you use? As I am unclear which one is best, if any at all..

How is the Forum Special Access item works?I want to hide some sub forum from reg member, but they can buy the access to that hidden forum using the point. Can I use this mod for that purpose?How do I set it up?

I had this problem but I was able to successfully install on 4.01 by commenting out:

temporarily in class_template_parser.php while running the install/upgrade.
It does DOM level testing immediately after that step so it's not exactly unsafe, just imperfect.

To save me another hour of searching can someone please tell me what to put in this field?

Please note that I have limited knowledge on this at the moment so I need it spelled out and not a generic description of what to put there.

Final edit....while slapping myself in the forehead....i am using experience....dont mind me.

Members can 'buy' thier way into a forum as one of the market items. It is up to you if you have it completely hidden or the forum viewable but not the threads themselves. They can gain access by purchasing a password, changing their user group or just forum access. You can also do that without purchases by creating a user group for said private forum and manually adding a user to that group.


If you go to the point market in the ACP the Forum Items you can disable the steal and the gambling access via the edit option. On that note, will there be a check box to enable/disable some of the market items in the ACP instead of having to go through the edit option?

I'm sure there's a way but I can't seem to find how to delete a store Item.....I can only disable once it is created

Works great, except for some small formatting issues, with username glow and user title. . See attached screenshot. Any assistance is appreciated.

I setup uCash and vBCredits Deluxe II I set some items to Points or Credits and it says You don't have the funds to buy this, however they do.

Whats the fix for this?

one of our members is also having issues with the glow/color user names. He says...

I also noticed there is a glitch when sending a private message to a user with these items if you send the PM via the link in the members post bit. It picks up the whole code not just the username.

Setting up a brand new site and grabbed this as well as Experience for the points system. Of course without users, my testing is limited :) but I'd really like the users to be able to purchase and replace another users Avatar...

And, I can likely remove it manually but as a future addition, for those of us not wanting to implement the Convertor - can an option to remove that from the menu be added?

This problem apparently still exists in Gold. I have a user who bought it and now all his threads have strikethrough. He refunded it, but it won't stop!

Yes, he said that will be fixed in 3.1 as soon as he adds the new upgraded version. Anyday or minute now! :D
