netPlay is something which I'm still testing/coding. It's a live multiplayer gaming system, based on an XML socket server.

dont think where going get a reply but i ask again whats all this netplay thing about i see in the settings, i know its to do with muti player games but like is there any plans for any of them, will server side thinga have to be installed and that?

The v3 Arcade wasn't made *just* for vBulletin.org. I always had it in mind to release it here, but it was also intended for use on several of my client's websites.

That's what the netPlay system is for, live multiplayer gaming for these sites. Although it's specifically for these client sites, I'll be offering the service to anyone who wants it.

i know we looked in to it for the bb|messanger hack but due to not having time due to work and then running sites we give that a miss also looked in to file sending ( user to user) but give that a pass and just did the basic user to user chat.

John, I didn't see anyone in this thread with the same problem. I just rechecked the code, line by line per your instructions and everything is good. But I still get that error as soon as I do that install.

ethics, was there any more detail other than "Parse error: parse error in /public_html/forum/admincp/install_arcade.php on line 647" in the error message?
