That might happen if you have both the manual template edit and the auto-deploy functionality enabled, check your templates :)

The only person who can be invited to a chatroom is user ID 1, no other members ever get the popup. I noticed that the Old Message: and New Message: in the Log in AdminCP show the same text for logged edits, pretty sure the Old should show the text before it was edited. I also don't see a "Auto-Delete Shouts" option in the settings. And there is no way to delete reports?

I think I'll hold off purchasing Pro until invites etc are fixed.

I'll have those fixed for the next version :)

Auto-Delete Shouts is actually a Pro feature, it was incorrectly shown as being in Lite, I apologise.

There's no way to delete reports, no, but they will stop showing up in the reports tab when they have been handled.

In my case the users have special characters, I have the trademark symbol and one other user that I was trying to invite has "-=" in the start and end of the name...

Also I would like to ask something more..
I have uncheck from members to be able to see the archive, but in the shoutbox they can see the option to go to archive page. Of course then they are receiving a message that they cannot, but the best would be not to see the option at all (on the left top, next to Shoutbox, there is an arrow and if you press it gives the option to go to archive)..

The other thing has to do with bandwidth.. Since I install the shoutbox the bandwidth has been doubled.. If I use "Shoutbox Optimisation" it will reduce also the bandwidth? what "Shoutbox Optimisation" actually does??

Hi,

I'm experiencing a slight issue with this on my forum.

The Chatbox just stays on "Loading..." and won't allow any text to be entered.
When viewing in Internet Explorer, I found the following javascript error was being captured:

It may be of interest to note that I have recently completed a host migration.

I have fixed the original issue, I'm going to test special characters as well before pushing a fix.

Yeah it will, because it will only request ajax.php when there's actual new shouts :)

You seem to be lacking the YUI library, what version of vBulletin are you running?

Update:
Sadly it is not possible to fix slash commands to work with characters like Trademark, due to limitations of AJAX technology and the database storage method at this point in time :(
