sucks when tapatalk is down cause now the entire forum is soooo slow so i had to remove the code for the time being.

If that's the case you will probably need to update your plugin and edit your template. We have removed the server dependency since few months back. Basically you remove the code and redo the install it'll work fine.

Installed. Is there a way to buy Android applicaiton for Tapatalk other than the market? The reason why I am asking this is because paid version of market is still not available in Hong Kong.

Unfortunately the only distribution channel is thru the Google Android Market :(

i have been considering adding this to my forum, but i have heard of some security issues with this, and it possibly opening up the site for potential attack.

is there any info about this plug in that can either confirm or deny some of this?

Read about a couple of sites getting hacked via Tapatalk.

We have found the issue related to file permission - it appears some forum owners installed the plugin with "777" permission on all files. We are releasing another update in next 2 hours to address this issue and to add more security harness to prevent this to happen again.

This is only affecting vBulletin 3.8 version of Tapatalk plugin.

My blackberry users are having a ton of problems with slowness/hanging on my site and the app crashing on them. I know it says the BB app is in beta. I don't know how much data I can get from them, but is there anything I can possibly provide to help fix it?

Also, has anyone else seen this issue?
