Again... it works fine with the latest vb version. Read the last few posts and you will see where the fix is. If you all can't look through 16 pages, then maybe you don't need it installed.

I wish i wouldve seen the fix sooner but being a noob . I guess i screwed myself . I had uninstalled it already . so now seeing the fix it says to make the changes n install as an overwrite . i got that part but now it wont let me install the original .xml saying its not compatible .:
The following dependencies were not met: This product is not compatible with version 4.1.0 of vBulletin. (Compatible starting with 4.0.0 alpha 1 / Incompatible with 4.1.0 alpha 1 and greater) so by uninstalling it i guess i screwed my self. Quote:

Yeah, understood but, if it is clear that people are having issues it would be easier to just post fixes that other members have found instead of letting a thread get unnecessarily long which leave users having to read through a lot of BS before finding a fix.
Anyway, I've found the fix for 4.1.x Here and here are the posts for it for anyone who needs it. |
Well, when the fix has been referenced to and someone can't read one of two posts back to see it, that is getting a little lazy and ridiculous.
|
Yeah, you're probably right but, I'm just saying. I figured someone had posted a fix for this which is why I started to read through first. I always check the last post and go backwards if the mod is old/unsupported. Some people may start from the beginning which is a lot to sort through before getting to a solution. I really wasn't trying to be rude though... I just understand from the other stand point how irritating it can be. :)
