I lost the use of my Tool bar now......... I cant seem to fix it what would be the cause?


Ok so I got it to work but now Youtube does not display and when using PREVIEW all I see is the address's in brackets not the video;s I have not checked on any other sites yet but at least I got it back.


Also how do I change the address to display my own gif instead of the text button?

I still do not see any type of bbcode in the manager


Ok after much messing around I have finally got this to work as intended with the help of pieces of info from a few post's I think the author should consider changing the directions for these are much easier and work

Works perfectly fine with 3.6.5 Now to just figure out how to use a button instead of that text link

I installed this and I must have done something wrong because when I put the code in the image does not appear. I just get a line that says this in the message:

[youtube]LMHZcgM11GU[/youtube]

I did the BB code edit and save and that word.

I need the "MC_video_icon.gif" file though because for some reason that did not get installed.

Yo Chad! Did you bail on this mod? Your last post on it was the 11th of February and it isn't working now.

It shouldn't make too much of a difference in your forum bandwidth as this hack steals the bandwidth of the place where the video is actually posted to. ;)

Works perfectly in 3.6.4 and 3.6.5...

What doesn't work?

The link does not work. Before it popped up telling you to put in the url info for the video..now nothing. I attribute that to the 3.6.5 upgrade. Did you do a full upgrade or just the security upgrade?

I just went back and checked and the link does not work. :(

The reason is that the clientscript/vbulletin_textedit.js does not exist anymore in 3.6.5...

However, you can do it manually by inserting the required BB tags. :)
