Can someone please explain exactly how to move the Who is Chatting box from the bottom of the page to the top of the page? I have been all over the place trying to figure out how this thing is being called and I can't. Help is much appreciated :)

nevermind - I finally found the additional add-on hack... https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=143840

I recently moved to a new server and since then no members show up as currently chatting. I even upgraded to the latest version and still nothing. Any ideas?

Paul,

Please consider writing a "display 'friends in flashchat' in navbar" add-on for vb 3.7. (below 'your notifications')
I am sure that this would intensify the use of flashchat on any site and enhance integration.

Paul M 12-15-2007 04:31 PM

Blimey, I'll have enough work making sure everything works on 3.7 first - but I'll keep it in mind.

Great. Thanks for the English lesson BTW. Never knew that expression before.

Paul, just to let you know, while testing my Flashchat add-on hacks to check compatibility with v 3.7.0 beta 2, I tested this hack, and it works fine with no alterations apart from editing the product xml to change the dependency maxversion to allow it to work with v3.7.0 beta 2.

Great Hack! Easy Install!!

Thanks for all the hard work!

Just to make sure, I can change the phrases at

ACP->Languages & Phrases->Phrase Manager?

I seem to get there, and find the appropriate phrases, but it only allows me to add an english translation, not alter the text...maybe I'm barking at the wrong tree....

My Apologies, I'm an idiot! And it's late....

Operating a computer under the influence can have negative effects!!
