Hello this is a great hack , but can the vb reputation points be used instead of the cash?

I dont quite understand how to use the lottery thing it keeps saying "No Draw Active at this time, please check back later
" how do I get this thing to work? I have all the days checked, I also checed then permissions

From What I remember when I first installed Casino.
The lottery takes 24 hrs to activate itself.

Because a Cron job has to run.

i wish if the casino was OFF instead of the standard no permission error, it would say something like "The casino is currently closed, check back later."

well its been well over 24 hours and its yet to work!!

I have downloaded your product from the forum . Please tell me what i did
wrong.

1. I made a new folder in my ftp under forum which is ;
Sportsunit.com/forum/casino

2. I've uploaded " admincp,casino,includes,casino.php " in to casino folder

3. Imported the xml file in the forum admin
Plugins & Products -> Manage Products -> Added xml file

Now here comes the problem. In my forum admin area, I do not see any new
options like you said , "lottery setup or casino settings " .

Please help me, my forum is sportsbook and casino related forum and i
really need your casino program.

Please assist.

How to duplicate:

1. Go to casino donation page, fill in your OWN name and the amount of money to donate.

2. On the next page you get an url like http://forum.myforum.com/c...&donate=Donate

3. Put this URL in http://tinyurl.com/ , it will give you a short version of the URL

4. Post somewhere on the forum this URL between IMG tags (or just URL tags)

5. Anyone who views the 'image' or clicks the URL will now donate to you

So the donation system needs a confirmation with password or something, well i don't know if that's needed but it obviously isn't secure at this point. We have it disabled untill it is secure.

Having said that, this hack is currently abandoned by the author, sadly, he hasn't been on vb.org for over a month now. The casino's own support site is now just riddled with spammers.

Very sad as this showed much promise and even won "Mod Of The Month" but I think perhaps the author got a bit overwhelmed with it all.

Technically, IMO you should censor tinyurl.com on your forum as it can be used for menacing acts. Using tinyurl for phishing is one way people are using for this criminal act. Ofcourse, you never really can know all the time where a tinyurl will lead you as well. Also, if you do not allow advertising on your forum and have banned certain sites, tinyurl can be used to bypass this ban. These are just some reasons I have found to censor it. :erm:
