I'm using Chatbox Version 1.1.0 on vB 3.7.4

I was editing a usergroup in the Admin CP. I hit the "Save" button and got the "successful" message, but when I look in the Usergroup Manager vB has created a new usergroup under "Custom Usergroups" with the settings I changed instead of modifying the usergroup as I would like.

To troubleshoot I contact vB support, they suggested me to remove any of the listed .xml files in the includes/xml directory, so I deleted bitfield_mgc_cb_evo.xml and cpnav_mgc_cb_evo.xml and problem gone, I tried to re upload these xml files but the problem came again.

is the style upto date with you're vbulletin version ase my home template was not uptodate so i purchest a style that was for 3.7.4 and worked fine and i didnt do nothing else just changed the style

im on 3.7.3 not upgrading till the new blog goes gold. igure it must be a hack issue. i disabled the donate bar and moved the lates photos to below the forum and now its on top. Any way to set it so when users choose a color they stay that way instead of having to pick it on every chat attempt. Also when posting a chat it sometimes shows twice, only to the senders not the reciebing party. they only see one submission

Im having trouble with IE users getting some chat box erors and getting booted is how they describe it. I also get the dbl chat thingy. but im most concerned about the ie users getting errors only

You can try to use the little help in the readme for style issues. This should do the trick.

For the color picking, they can set it in their usercp.

Which type of errors do they see ?

I don't think it comes from the chatbox . Noone ever experienced that and the xml files are totally handled by vB.

Unless already addressed, I have a minor feature request or perhaps, this is something that isn't as good of idea as I think: Let me know.

The [more] button for smileys currently displays the entire onslaught of smileys that I have and unfortunately, it appears to overload some folks browsers. Of course I can remove some but I have a mod that affects misc.php that prevents the issue when posting in the threads...

Would it be possible to have mgc_chat reference /misc.php?do=getsmilies&editorid=&select_category=A nimated or similar in it's [more] smileys function?

VB DEV, they get a message chat processing and when they click ok i guess it is. it freezes and closes there browser. it has happened to me on ff like twice

Done some reading here, can't find my answer, How do i change the chats from appearing horizontal to vertical like most other chatboxes? I searched through the admincp for it, didn't find the option to change it. thanks
