hello, there

i have this hack installed now some weeks, but from beginning i have a syntac arror on line two ..

The error is in bottom line displayed and only by IE6.0 .. when i log in the error dissapears .. only geust user have this error.

ERROR REPORT:
(it opens a little popup in IE and says:)

Try it oput, every guest with IE will get this error if he has standarts on his browser (for ex. fresh installed machines)

on the bottom (status line) there also show Error on this site .. on line 2 .. i searched everything .. but found nothing, on line two is following code:
and like i said, only guests get this error, when you log in or register it dissapears .. nothing is hacked its from beginning!

When trying to edit post:

Error in editpost.php line 620:

When submitting it rapports no errors but it only says "edited by" in the post og the reason for editing, the new text is not present.
If I edit som of the original text, the change does not happen.

When playing in v3 Arcade and finishing a game, I type in the comments box but on submit gets: No permissions (I have the permissions).

I sure hope that someone can help. I'm supposed to open my upgraded forum monday and still have a long way to go :(

Hello all. I just installed the hack and I dont' see any visual difference on my forum. This is supposed to make the main page of my site http://www.tripleplate.com run the advanced homepage from my forum in http://www.tripleplate.com/vbulletin right?

There is no difference to either page, the forums, or the main page that I currently have redirecting to the forums. Do I need to do something to the mainpage of the website to call on vbadvanced or something?

It looks like you overwrote the cmps_index.php with the content of your pre-existing index page rather than renaming the cmps_index.php to index.php and then uploading it?
Both http://www.tripleplate.com/cmps_index.php and http://www.tripleplate.com/ are the same.

when you click that first link you rpovided /cmps_index.php you get my error page which redirects to the homepage...it says "update yoru bookmarks"...

I didn't see anything about cmps_index.php what am I supposed to do with that?

ahh..i got it. I deleted my index.html and put the adv_index as index.php

Thats because I had a brain fart and was telling you the index file for the wrong mod. I'm sorry.

On my online users list some user names shows up with a "+" after their names, what can be causing this? The Url is: www.it-chicks.dk

thats a default vB thing. Its only next to people who you have added to your buddy list ;)

ok i have found a Bug... one of the other Admin posted news at my forums and it ended up Screwing up all the templates cause he quoted something in the news..... now i don't know if anyone else has already fixed this theres WAY to many posts to go threw them all.... so anyone able to help...

Why didn't it carry over and use the same template setting? Check mine out at www.rcswap.com it doesn't look anyhting like www.rcswap.com/forums/ How do I change this?

Not sure if this has been brought up yet...but the latest forum topic...on the home page...it shows the topic starter..is their a way to have this changed to who the last person to make the post instead? Along with date and time :-D

I track my msg's via who made the last post, and if it keeps showing up the topic starter its hard to tell if you read it or not.

best hack I ever installed

Right, I have read 40+ pages now and cant seem to find the answer to this.

I have installed this hack and everything seems fine, I still need to change path to smilies though.

The only problem is, I use a flash header which has links to forum and home. This seems to have been changed when I installed the hack. It is pointing to the wrong address on the home page.

I havent renamed the home page yet so see the link here:

Any idea what I need to change to fix this? Where are the variables such as $stylevar[imgdir_misc] defined?

Also, off topic - I have registered at vbadvanced.com over 2 hours ago and still not had the activation email, you may want to have a look at it.

this may of been mentioned before but i cant find it. My Smilies are not appearing on my front page. They link without the /forum . Which file do i need to edit with the full address for the smilies to work

Pardon me if this is a stupid question or if I'm missing the obvious here. I just downloaded this for my website, and I'm wondering I've found myself stumped in the whole module thing. First of all, I was advised to go to my "vBa CMPS." I have absolutely no idea what that is. Second, I search through the options in my adminCP, but there is only an option to select 2 modules, which are dependant on 1 template. What if I want a 3rd module?

Specifically, I'm attempting to install the addon module by Zack or "Harrybutt?" https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=67474 which allows me to include my forum contributors. I noticed that the first vBa included a modules directory and a whole lot of files that were not included with this release. So maybe these features are not found in 1.1? Should I have installed 1.0 first?

I am at the part in the install where it says:

Now open your adv_index.php file in this folder and find:
chdir('/home/yoursite/public_html/forum');

I opened up that file and found a similar phrase so I got that far. However, Im not sure what Im supposed to put there. At first glance I would want to put http://www.ultimatuner.com/forum/ because that is the address to my forum but it says not to put a URL in there. What should i put?

Also a second question, whats the difference between this and that CPMS(sp?) Portal management System?

If you dont know what to put, leave it as is and upload the file, go to the page and paste the error you recive here.

Ok I uploaded it, but I never received an error. Also, I go into my Admin CP and I dont see any options to change vb advanced homepage. Also, in a few of my styles, it doesnt show up right. All the ones from www.vbstyles.com that I have that have flash headers, they dont work. Any idea why all of these things arent working??? *Note* My site is not functional at the moment so I need help quick!!

PS - My arcade doesnt work anymore. Whenever i go to play a game it just brings me to the main page. I have the ProArcade installed.

I can offer paid support for whoever can get all of this working.

Ok update. I installed vBulletin 3.0.5 update, and I uninstalled vBadvanced Homepage and now its all better except for one thing. Whenever I go to play a game it goes to my main page still. Any idea at all of why it would be doing this?

Did you, by any chance, rename your existing index.php to something else, and use the new index.php (the vbA one) in that directory?

If so, of course it is going to go to that page, because arcade.php redirects you to index.php?do=play or something.
