vBSEO Temp fix:
Not entirely sure of the negative effects of this fix towards vBSEO's plugin, but it allows full functionality for vBSocial Notifications and almost full functionality for vBSEO. (Meaning dropdowns will open elsewhere and thread urls will be in tact) I did notice.

Steps:
1. Go into admincp, open Plugins & Products > Plugin Manager
2. Find the section for vBSEO, there is about "100+ hooks".
Disable these two hooks:
vBSEO Global Hook
vBSEO Process Templates Complete
by unchecking the box to the right for both, and save.

3. Check to see if main urls in vbseo still okay, and dropdowns work.
Done.

If anyone can find a fix better than this please post below. This will disable some functionality of vBSEO, but from what I've seen, I still have same post and thread urls, which is most important to vBSEO.

Hi I'm having the same issue as the user before me. After I click on notifications or messages the loading gif will not go away. a refresh of the page will stop it but only to return if I click on it again.

My interval is set at 60 too. Any fix for this? Other then that the mod is working great.

Also as to the "loading gif", might be a mistake I did while creating lite, and stripping features off. Looking into.

How do I remove the default login form? I would like to use your mod as the default login/register form for my forum. You can see the attachment for an example.

I am using the default VB style. 4.2.2

PM is working fine though.
I have a feeling when I stripped the lite version it affected your notifications, hence the "ajax loading" and not proper notifications.

Theres a setting in admincp > vBSocial Notifications > vbsocial main settings > Enable default header? > No

Going to look at the lite version tonight.

Did you use any previous versions? Make sure you mark install "overwrite", or uninstall the older versions, remove old files from previous versions and check default template.

WOW. I am speechless, this plugin is exactly what I was looking for. And more! I was looking for a way to notify users of new replies to their threads without bombarding them with email notifications. This is so awesome! It is definitely going to increase the ease of use of vBulletin and make it clear to users when new replies happen so they can go and quickly read them and continue the discussion going. I bet there will be more posting in the forum after installing this, since the flow of discussion will be much smoother.

Plus your support from what I've seen in this thread, is outstanding. Great work!

One question: is it possible to decide/choose which usergroup that will see this mod, or is this mod something that all users will benefit from.

I want to add something extra to our VIP users, and this mod would be a great way to get people to buy VIP membership to our site.

Yes to your first question. Though I feel your site will benefit more as a whole if you let them all use this.

if you only want this mod 59 is expensive but the price aside the mess that 7 was i`m not even willing to try this 1 now version 6 works great , more than i can say for 7 when i tried it out . i`ll stick to 6 now just not worth the hassle

Hey Craig,

You should really try this version 9 out. All the hassle has been fixed and installation is a breeze this time around, and bugs have been sorted out. Its' been re-built from ground up, optimized far better than the older versions and runs of shared to dedicated servers.

Yeah i still have this when i tried to upload the XML via admincp. after this security alert i had to upload to /xml folder and then add it to plugins via admincp.

i'm wonder what is exactly is that alert about which i couldnt find out.

it seemed to work on your demo site before but when tested it just did`nt cut it tbh version 6 works fine , i also don't like the bar across the top in the newer versions

Most major sites use a bar now to help faciliate in the flow of the website, and provide easy access to the user.
