That is not from this mod, it's from this one, VSa - Visitors In Last X Hours

It has been updated to solve the errors.

tsptom 10-17-2013 02:37 PM

I have had this loaded for years and it works great. However, I have one members who says he can't get past the "loading" issue.

I made sure it wasn't the "not complete" URL issue that some have reported.

He says it works correctly for him on his home computer using Firefox, but at work he's using IE8 and it's not loading.

Are there any IE issues / settings that need to set / unset?

Thanks!

tsptom 10-17-2013 04:55 PM

Here's the error msg he's getting...

Quote:

Internet Explorer's Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) Filter can help prevent one website from adding script code to another website. XSS Filter watches how websites interact, and when it recognizes a potential attack, it will automatically block script code from running. When this happens, you will see a message in the Information bar letting you know that the webpage was modified to help protect your privacy and security.

Did you try reducing the size of the text in the header "Top 10 Stats" it looks a little to large for that header imo.

Nice looking forum. As a test, I would try to put the stats at the top of the page instead of the bottom and see if the format issue persists. If not, you know it might be another hack/ mod, and not the Stats block.

Thank you, yes i have moved it with the same results.

For some reason only when logged on?

ozzy47 10-17-2013 10:18 PM

Does the same thing happen on a unmodified default style?

No sir, it was fine on my last style.

ozzy47 10-17-2013 10:27 PM

Ok in your style edit the template, vsa_topstats_stats

Find this:
Code:

Replace with this:
Code:

Do you have any Notices posted for users who are logged in? I have had some weird results if I don't close all tags in the Notices.

ozzy47 10-17-2013 10:37 PM

No it is not the notices, it is the style he is using, the blockhead is too narrow to display the dropdown arrow, causing it to overlap into the blockrow.

SPEEDKILLZ 10-17-2013 10:37 PM

Your beast ozzy, thanks

ozzy47 10-17-2013 10:38 PM

Not a problem, glad to help. :)

Brandon Sheley 10-18-2013 02:23 PM

We have a setup which shows "Please reload the window." randomly to members.
I see it posted a few times here but nothing that resolves it.
Does anyone have a quick link to the fix, I've searched through about 30 pages in this thread, I guess I can search the other 50 but would rather not.

thanks

ozzy47 10-18-2013 03:35 PM

That I believe is the ajax needing to be reloaded, and if it is, I doubt there is a workaround.

Not a problem, glad to help. :)

I believe that is going to show like that when the users session times out.

Kane@airrifle 10-24-2013 03:24 PM

Got a bit of a head scratcher with this mod. I have one user almost permanently logged in to my forum with UA Chrome 30.xx which somehow causes the session table to fill up with thousands of rows with queries to this mod, sometimes a mere 2 minute session is enough to bang the table up to its 16mb limit. Curiouser still is that no other members using the same UA causes this problem. Have any of you boffins run into this issue; am I overlooking something obvious?

Running 4.2.2 on PHP 5.4.20 and Mysql 5.5.32
Yes crons are running and yes, my footer table sports the cron image as is required.

Never mind. The member was running an Auto refresh script in Chrome on top of the mods' own built in auto refresh system; collision city :(

Mecho 10-26-2013 11:18 AM

is there any option for users to select the forums that they want to see on Latest Threads for example ?

thanks

jdwood14 10-28-2013 06:09 AM

I have a question. is there a way to change the option from top posters to top points. We use a points system for everything in our site and we are wanting to change this to displays current points for top 10 users. can this be done?

dszuecs 10-30-2013 12:35 PM

Just upgraded to vbulletin 4.2.2.

Now neither VSA Chat nor ADFS is loading anymore. Any ideas?

Thanks. D.

volarium 10-30-2013 06:11 PM

I don't suppose it would be easy to add a new category for "Latest Paid Subscriptions" that lists users who sign up for a subscription in the vBulletin Subscription Manager?

clauz 11-04-2013 01:53 PM

Hello,

Any idea on how to fix the problem bellow?
In the top reputation I only have 55 users (from 4000-5000 total users on my forum).
Those 55 users received normal reputation points, all the rest have reputation point received only by '[DBTech] Advanced Post Thanks / Like v3 (vB4) [AJAX]'.
It is interesting that the users in top (those 55) have also displayed the points received from "thanks mod".

Or maybe there is a way to manually add (via MySQL script) 1 reputation point to all users that already have some received by '[DBTech] Advanced Post Thanks / Like v3 (vB4) [AJAX]'.

Hello and thanks for this great mod.

I have a forum where I have also installed '[DBTech] Advanced Post Thanks / Like v3 (vB4) [AJAX]' and every 'thanks' on a post give a user +1 points of reputation. However, every user that only have points of reputation obtained from "thanks post" are not in the "Top reputation" of this mod.

If a user has also receive a normal reputation, he is promoted on "top" with the whole sum of reputation point and "thank post" points.

There is a way so all users that have points of reputation (even if not received by normal reputation) are displayed on top?

it's not letting me install, I get a request timeout, like when a site is not there anymore and through reading some post, ppl are saying it's because it's not supported anymore (I've never encounter this before so not sure why it's happening)... I tried several times with same results!!!

Notice columns 1 & 3 have some space at the bottom.

FYI: I tried Ozzy's post #1171 and it didn't work

I remember fixing this when I used the TF_Ideal theme but do not recall what I did?:o

SNATCH3R 12-04-2013 10:20 AM

Thanks for this mod. It's working perfect. But I am getting white background for the Staistics, whereas my theme is black background...

Even though its working...it is looking odd... a strip of white block on the whole dark background....

Can anybody suggest on how to change the background color for the statistics block

jc935 12-05-2013 01:59 PM

does anybody know if this conflicts with any other mod/plugin, I haven't been able to install it yet...

webmastersitesi 12-10-2013 04:41 AM

Does it work with vb 4.2.2?

dat.phan 12-10-2013 07:32 AM

ozzy47 12-10-2013 09:55 AM
