I've registered over there. Hit my up while the DayQuil is still working.

MagicThemeParks 01-30-2010 08:18 PM

LOL....cool, you have now been promoted on LegendaryRockers.com! :)

Digital Jedi 01-30-2010 08:20 PM

My mom would be so proud. =}

Your File Cache was turned off. Any reason why you didn't/don't want it on, because that seems to be the source of the problem.

MagicThemeParks 01-30-2010 08:28 PM

Was that it DJ? Wow, I can't believe it was something as simple as that! :(

No particular reason, just didn't have it turned on. Thanks for looking.

Digital Jedi 01-30-2010 08:28 PM

Also, you might want both Blip definitions imported, just in case.

MagicThemeParks 01-30-2010 09:13 PM

DJ, hope the DayQuil is still kickin'! :)

So it's working on LegendaryRockers, but when I tried to post the same URL on WaltDisneyBoards, it gave me the same error.

Code:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '(' in /home/avarona/public_html/includes/ame_bbcode.php(325) : regexp code on line 1

Fatal error: preg_replace() [<a href='function.preg-replace'>function.preg-replace</a>]: Failed evaluating code: ame_match(&quot;Started by a Mouse&quot;, &quot;Started by a Mouse&quot;, 1, &quot;~[\s]+player\.setPostsId\(([\d]+)\);[\s]+player\.setUsersId\([\d]+\);[\s]+player\.setUsersLogin\(\\&quot;([\w-_]+)\\&quot;\)~sim&quot;, &quot;&quot;, $ameinfo) in /home/avarona/public_html/includes/ame_bbcode.php on line 325

File cache is enabled on that one, so not sure. Can you log into that one and see what I'm missing? :)

Doesn't look like I have an Admin access there any longer.

MagicThemeParks 01-30-2010 09:56 PM

Whoops....you're back to Admin status

If you don't mind letting me try something. Let me delete all your existing definitions, not including Internal Linking and YouTube default, and importing my latest XML file. I want to make sure there isn't a conflict somewhere.

MagicThemeParks 01-30-2010 11:03 PM

I don't mind it, just don't lose my AllPosters and Amazon affiliate codes ;)

Digital Jedi 01-30-2010 11:14 PM

Gotcha, I'll keep them intact.

Did something change with youtube?

This is what I see today.

That would be a YouTube issue most likely. It's not unusual for embeds go down when they're doing maintenance.

Ok I will watch it. It has been like this for a few days on multiple sites.

aztecboi2003 02-04-2010 10:02 PM

That should be fine. What problems are you having and could you post a link to an example?

I will send you a PM if you don't mind. My site has adult content on it.

No problem. I can't quite remember now, but I made the Image Shack (Videos) definition to embed from the videos main page, rather than the direct link.

chick 02-06-2010 11:53 PM

Would it be possible to get Podblanc?

Thank you for any consideration.

Deadsy 02-07-2010 08:57 AM

Hm, the internal links seem not to work for me. I had AME installed before and everything works fine. But after a big downtime of my board and an old backup, ame was not included. So I've installed it again, but no internal links definitons were included in both xml files. So I downloaded DJ's AMEs (Delta).zip and added them manually. But the internal links seem not to change. Are there any known issues?

tobe12 02-07-2010 09:07 AM

Does this mod work for VB4.0.1?

I installed it, but it does not seem to be working.

MagicThemeParks 02-07-2010 11:57 AM

tobe12, so you're asking whether it works for vB4.0.1, but you're stating it does seem to be working. Seems like you answered your own question.

tobe12 02-07-2010 05:47 PM

Sorry I edited my post. It is not working for me!.

Allows user to simply 'paste' in a URL (i.e. a youtube link) without needing to know any special tags. However instead of displaying just the URL, it will show the media within the post
I have installed the mod but the above feature does not work. Can someone test it on my site and tell me why it is not working?

Why not just use the the vB4 version? I know it doesn't have as many definitions (yet), but it will eventually.

THE Podblanc? You know, I wondered if anyone would request that site one day. Honestly, I can't say I'm comfortable even visiting the website, much less having to view content to the degree I have to, to make sure all possible URLs convert they way they need to. I know that I've done plenty of websites with subject matter I didn't necessarily agree with before, and I know that not everyone would use it for the same purposes. I just think developing for Podblanc would be little over the line for me. Sorry, I don't usually turn down requests. I just can't see me working on this site for any length of time. Thanks.

Oh cool. I didn't know there was one. I will try that and report back if I have any issues. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Deadsy 02-09-2010 04:50 PM

Is it possible that one of you could send me your internal links definition?
I've tried a few options, but none of them worked at all. I just got my old links and I can't figure out why.

:(

YAHOME 02-16-2010 10:42 PM

Recently i noticed that links the videos on you tube had changed format and embed method

so that any new link i put it from youtube to my forum don't work or convert .

I made a change in / Regular expression like this :

old one:

PHP Code:

new one:

PHP Code:

because the urls changed to :

http://www.youtube.com/watch#v=XXXXXXXXXXX

from:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXXXXXXXXXX

and its work fine now

Except for one important thing :

Video Title from youtube not work at all only youtube text title ?

can i find a help to make it work or there is an update for this mod?

thanks for any one help me

Nook_Neformat 02-16-2010 11:32 PM

where did you see such url?

YAHOME 02-16-2010 11:36 PM

all youtube videos urls had this change

enter youtube site make a right click at the video or see the address bar you will see the difference

YAHOME 02-16-2010 11:40 PM

that's a search link:

PHP Code:

http://www.youtube.com/watch#playnext=1&playnext_from=TL&videos=ZSVFl_DhQFc&v=Riauw5UTnW8

and that's a direct link:

PHP Code:

http://www.youtube.com/watch#v=Riauw5UTnW8&feature=related

Nook_Neformat 02-16-2010 11:43 PM

it redirected me to what you're calling "old urls" :)
so i dont think there were any changes at youtube

YAHOME 02-16-2010 11:46 PM

How come YouTube make this major change at there links i cant understand way they do this !!!! :(

YAHOME 02-16-2010 11:47 PM

is this link work with you at AME when you post it at the forum ?:

http://www.youtube.com/watch#v=Riauw...eature=related

because its not working for me give me only the url link

AME cant read the url any more :(

YAHOME 02-17-2010 12:10 AM

Even when i click the embed button at the bottom of the video its give me embeder link like this:

http://www.youtube.com/v/Riauw5UTnW8

and of curse doesn't work at AME

how can my members put the right link for work thy didn't know all that things ...

YAHOME 02-17-2010 12:22 AM

dknelson 02-17-2010 12:23 AM

I'm having no problems. They are still embedding like they always have.

YAHOME 02-17-2010 12:45 AM

Okay i download the mode now from the beginning and upload it into my site and my local host for test it again and again and

its hopeless case :) both not work the live site and local host only show the url nothing else ... i swear
