ok i did the import through admincp and uploaded the bitmap xml through FTP but how do i get the the passiveVid setting like that screenshot in my admincp?

do i go to Plugins & Products > Download/Upload Plugins and then download those 10 passiveVid filenames?

or do i do Plugins & Products > Add New Plugin and select passiveVid from the drop down menu and go from there?

EDIT: Nevermind it was never mentioned to me to go to the vBulletin Options and find passiveVid setting in the scroll list (found this after searching all the pages in this thread... phew!)

Go to Vb options in your adminCP, then Passivevid Settings. Under custom replacement, you can edit the html code and take out those variables.

hmm, RrCoX22 you make the installation process look so complicated. Was it really that bad? I tried to make it as easy as possible.

Well on another note, I'm leaving for vacation for a week. I will not have an internet connection, but i do have apache installed on my laptop so if i do have time, or it rains or something. I may be able to polish the release up.

Using PassiveVid 1.1.2 on VB 3.7.2 I get a pretty good bug when we have stupid user tricks

A user used img tags and put a youtube URL inbetween them. This totally hosed up the vb templates for the showthread page messing up all the buttons and tables for the bottom of the post. Worst, another user quoted the post, and her post was all jacked up too.

I tested with the vb default templates and this problem still persists. Not sure if this was reported earlier or is new.

For someone that wants to try to fix XTube, it looks like the replacement code is under Plugins under 'passiveVid - Global Array'. Then you can search for XTube and find the code replacement.

I think XTube just changed their URL format, so hopefully this plugin will be updated soon.

For some reason StreetFire.net videos don't work using passiveVid 1.1.2 on vBulletin v3.7.2 Patch Release 1. Perhaps this will be fixed in passiveVid 2.0 as I see it's working on the "2.0 complete test" thread on scriptasy.com. :) I will gladly pay for 2.0!

Mine stopped working with streetfire.net too...i'm running an older version of VB also, so it has to be something streetfire changed on their site?

I installed this and Youtube Videos all say Were Sorry. This video is no longer available. The video screen is dark but i can hear and faintly see the video playing.

can a phisher add additional code or second url so that a pop up window phishing attempt occurs?
