My auction just ended for the fuel filter and I received what I assume is an automated PM from the buyer giving me his name and address. But the way it reads out I hope nobody actually send items to the listed address or who knows where it will end up. Not that with some reasoning you can't figure it out but we really need to dummy proof this so we don't end up caught in the middle some time down the road.

how do i make this work right with Zoints SEO? when i goto category, the address is going to: http://www.SITE.com/forums/?do=cat&showcat=1 instead of /forums/vbay.php?do=cat&showcat=1
how do i fix this with zoints seo? it is something int he re-write maybe in the htaccess?? thanks |
high bidder field shows teh UserID number instead of the User Name. fix?

I will put this in the main list and let you know how its coming along. high bidder userid -> username " in description cuts the description at that point add buyer name fix pm formatting add more currencies intergrate with trader ratings add paypal api bidder usergroups hot auctions on main admin editing auctions set up for use with forum commenting. fix amount of days an auction can be posted (more than 2 char) ability to prune old auctions make sure buy it now is using buy it now price, not bid. allow admin ability to specify bid/buyitnow/both overrides. |
i figured out how to use the actual forum system for vbay! so now instead of having to go into an entire seperate section to put and bid on auctions, you can do it while viewing that auctions thread ;D

Thanks for the input As for the vbay home, i hope to make it as interactive as possible. While i will be using the forum system and topics for categories and auctions, i will have a main vbay page that this will be accessable through, and at the front of that will be the cool goodies. |

hey when do you think to add feedback features?
And do you think to add an incremental bid like ebay? i mean that i place my MAX bid and the system automaticaly place my bid when someone place a bid (less of my max bid)? And another one, to prevend private trade, it's better have a system to hide the bidder name and don't use it userid to send the notice message/pm :P In the ACP i think that add something more about control of auctions and bids, now we can only delete it, not delete only a bid or edit the auctions. And there isn't nothing to ask something (like a forum/comment) about item :P BTW it's a GREAT mod ^^ |
ops... last one: there ins't a way to have category and sub category? like:
cars - volvo - mercedes - ferrari And there isn't a way to order the category? |

thank you this feature it kind of works on vb 3.7.0 RC4 I like where redfoxy is going and would like to see that I would also like to see when you rename it that you can change everything vbay does not work as a name for my site. I can drop some coin for additional addons just let me know shoot me a pm. |
Sorry don't want to read through the whole thing. How do you know what was the ending price on the auction? How do we maybe code that into the ending auction code?
"Hello, I am the High bidder on your auction, but I did not surpass the items reserve! Please try posting your auction again at a later time. Ending price was 35.65" OR something like that. Anyway of doing this? Or is there a way to see what the ending price was? |
