This is an issue as well.

It's strange you can go to any thread on any forum, but if you hit a link from the Stats bar the new window you are at says that you are logged out and need to log in again.

Now if you log in again, you can look at any of the links so the initial reaction is you just let your forum time out on you. When in fact it's a minor bug that needs to be repaired.

If anyone could assist with this, that would be great.

It must be something to do with the Cookies or something. Because when it makes me log back in, it switches the style to the default style that the forum currently is set with.

Anyway to fix this or should I install an earlier version?

Does anyone still have a zip file for version 5.4. Apparently through inspection of another website owner and vb owner, 5.5 has a "log you out" bug, while 5.4 works fine.

If someone can share or post a version of 5.4 that would be great.

Still there are errors with phrases.

This is the wrong way to customize phrases.

The right way is to search for text in Phrase Manager, then translate/customize what you want.

This is not bug.

Check your forum settings:
-Site Name / URL / Contact Details > Forum URL
-Cookies and HTTP Header Options > Cookie Domain

Search for text in Phrase Manager and change it to anything you want.

forgive me cyb but I find very slow edit all the strings in the phrase manager.
Probably if you want only edit the title and costumize it, you could use the manager without modify the XML, but if you don't know the corrispondence between the name of the string and what it is used for, I think it might be a problem for the admin edit it....
instead in the XML you can instantly see what you're going to translate.

I will do as you have suggested. However Inferno Shoutbox Add-On for example has Links to users profiles "within" the shoutbox. Those links don't log you out, so are you assuming it's not a bug? How could it be that the Cookies are messed up for this mod alone and not others, that would suggest its not the site but the mod.

One question though, it currently says Top 4 Stats (because I only wanted four to show and thus changed that setting in the Admion CP. Can I get it just to say "Top Stats", without the 4?

I read that you want to keep the queries simple and clean.. perhaps my suggestion would violate this, but I was hoping you could help modify Hottest Threads so it just shows the Hottest Threads for the last week. I have a mod installed that does this and my users respond to it. Using hottest threads from all time decreases relevancy and interest.

This is the only hang up that keeps me from TopXStats and This Weeks Hottest Threads and going with your mod. Great job on this by the way. I was impressed with the control panel.

1. For the top reputation, can you display the name only and not the points
2. Can you lengthen the number of characters in the link titles to the threads?

On the forum home I happened to turn off the statistics without knowing how to enable them again =/ does anybody know how I simply show them again? all members are still able to see the stats.

Check "Quick Links" menu for option "Enable Top Statistics".

Or simply point your browser to FORUM/misc.php?do=enablestats
