Did you also install the hook fix file ? That fixed it for me.

I feel like such a n00b asking this...but could someone please tell me where the postbit and postbit_legacy files are... I have found what I think is them...but they are called postbit.php and postbit_alt.php...I dont think that is them.

Um.... I imported the 6.2 and it's really messed up... it posts like a lot of (THANKS) boxes on the post.... can someone help me?

That's the thread that i'm trying to work on....

got everything working now on 3.6.7, though I had a few bumps along the way... all seems to be ok except than when checking for all thanked posts from the user profile page, I get a blank page as a result

i searched this thread for similar, but didn't see a clear answer to the problem

I've installed the 3.6.7 hook fix, but still the mod isn't working properly.. Any ideas what's causing this (the post thanks are being repeated, same error posted earlier in this thread).

I'm use costum style and the post thanks hack not work on it , but in the defaullt style it is work without any problem , is there any any help for fix this problem ,

This hack does not work with my customized style either. NO thanks button is displayed!

I have the same problem. No thanks button is displayed. I use 6.2 and have got the 3.6.7 fix.

Any suggestions?

I have checked and re-checked all steps of the installation and am certain everything is correct, yet there's still no sign of the thanks button after upgrading from 5.3 to 6.2.

Do all you guys not know how to look a page back or 2 or do a search to find the answer?????? vBulletin added some '$template_hook' variables to templates. You should have to update your custom styles to include these variables to get this hack working right. If you dont do this now, then when vb comes out with their plug-ins, you will have the same problem.

So that it would only display the thanks that was given to you in that thread for each individual thread you have.

So if Thread 1 had 5 Thanks in it, then in the postbit it would show "Thanks Recieved in this Thread: 5"

And if Thread 2 had 8 Thanks in it, then it would show "Thanks Recieved in this Thread: 8"

can u guide me step by step nowe from beginning wht to do to upgrade to 6.2
my vb version is 3.6.4..will it be compatible without any prbs or not?

6.2 wont work by you. Install 6.0. just over write the install and re-do all the template edits.

I have v3.6.0 and i install hacks all the time, i had installed this in the past, but later upgraded vb versions and removed the hack. Oddly when i go to install the 6.0 version and install the product xml file, it simply crashes the server. Any idea what's up with that? Thanks abe love this hack :)

when i clicked on Thank You button i got this message :

does this actually count up as a post count or only as a thank count, i.e will it reflect on total posts also, then it would surely boost community stats.

After i click the Thank Button. It will display under the Post.

yeah it was one of my members problem when my hack V6.0 Gold so i check this thread to ask about it then i notice the new Version 6.2 so i said to my self i should upgrade first.

After upgrade from 6.0 gold to 6.2 BoOoOm the problem in my membership Now so i disabled the AJAX and it's working Fine but i have to Enable the Ajax within the next 24 H.

i dont know php very much but the logical way is editing includes/functions_post_thanks.php

Ok so i just installed the post thankyou hack 6.2 and i was like score this is great. Then this jst randomly happerned, every reply post after 1st one gets a double button for thanks and so on till its like 17th post with 17 thanks buttons.

The "Thanks" button stopped working on my forum as well. Is this because of the forum software upgrade, it was working great before.

I was looking for the thankyou button, but thought i would post to say, Thankyou.
