Help!

Installed great into VB3.6.4 but doesn't show up on my forums.

Can anyone help me please? I would really like this feature on my forum. The program works great it just will not show up on my forum with random images.

I have the forumpath setup in the photoplog config file however my index.php (for my forum) has been changed to forum.php. Would this affect photoplog and not direct it to the right place to put the random pictures. Do I need to edit a file to have photoplog look for forum.php rather than index.php?

I compared PhotoPlog with the "others", and decided to give it a whirl a couple of days ago.

I downloaded and installed the "Lite" version and was so impressed within just a few days, I purchased the "Pro" version. Great product!

I did NOT seamlessly upgrade for me. Only SOME of the new tables were added to the DB (e.g., photoplog_permissions wouldn't add). I only had a few images (testing), so I just whacked everything and installed Pro from scratch, rebuilt the bitfields, and it's been great ever since.

Cudos for a great product with great features at a great price.

How can i give permission to moderators for approving files?

I found that a few of my members have put up some pics that i wouldnt want other members to see on the navbar. is there a code or something i can use that will put some pics into a differnet catagory and have them not show up on there?

I have only found that setting user group settings for this is the onlyway.

Like what? above the nav you mean?

Go to photoplog.com and then to the forum. You will see a row of images named 'random thumbs'. That is what I would like on my forums. I have my photoplog page working but the images won't show up in my forum.

Hi all. I need some help. Today I visited my site and it seems the pictures aren't coming up anymore. They are all showing up as an empty box now. When I click on one of the boxes it calls up a Fatal error.

I haven't messed with anything and photplog was working last night when I got off my computer.

This mod worked fine, however, when I moved server the images arent displaying (despite being there when i check the images url)

Also, when I try and upload an image I get an error at the top of the page saying

I am pretty sure you need to check your webserver not vBulletin.

U store your attachments in the database or as files on the server?Did u move all your attachments successfully?I mean,update the attachment thumbnails counter.

It doesn't show recent uploads or comments on the main page. What could be wrong? I've uploaded 5 pictures so far and again the number of uploads don't change!!

My album is opening so slow for some reason.
Sometimes it takes up to 10-20 seconds to load.

What could be the problem?

great hack. installed for a while. but have to upgrade to different system.

photoblog lite AND pro are terrible for SEO.

so if that is a concern for anyone. I'd fork over some $$ for other options.

Does anyone know how to still upload pictures when safe mode is enabled? I have done the following

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Server Settings and Optimization Options -> Safe Mode Upload Enabled Yes

And created a safe mode directory.

Any help would be really appreciated!.

A few suggestions.

You might actually tell people exactly *where* to insert all of these links into the templates instead of simply saying to stick it in the navbar template.

You might also arrange it so that when I go to the photoplog index I see something other than a blank page. :)

And, yes, all install instructions were followed to the letter. I am not new to installing mods. hmm does this mod have something against php 5.0.4? The path to the forums directory is correct yet I get a blank white page when I go to the photoplog directory. I did not see anywhere in the config file to supply it with my database info so I assume it pulls this from the forum config file.

i love this hack as it is without any other embellishments... the funny thing though... i cannot comment.... on the pics... my posting rules are all off.... im wondering is that because this is the LITE version???
