I have loaded everythng and did the install, and I cannot see where I post events.
I created a new user called bookmaster and made him a member of the bookmaker group that has permission to create events. Still no luck!! |

I have no box like that.
I did both the postbit and postbit_legacy. Do you think this could have caused it? I am running 3.5.1 I am dying to get this working! |
I'd say you need to either re-check all of your template edits and/or make sure you've edited the appropriate usergroups for permission to use vBookie.
|
The installation instructions say to EDIT the "POSTBIT" template in the "Show Thread Templates".
I do not have a postbit or "postbit_legacy" in my "Show Thread Templates" I Do have these in the "postbit templates" though. Is this a misprint in the installation instructions? Or do I have a problem? :o |
Postbit Templates is correct; in older Versions of vBulletin it was Show Thread Templates.

The installation instructions are quite clear. If the option to create a new vBookie event is not appearing when you try to create a new thread then you probably haven't done the first required template modification (newthread) properly. |
Hi
I installed vbookie and its looking fine, but the problem I have is whenever I change userpermissions or forum permissions, they dont save. They revert back to what they originally were. Can you help me?? |
I expect you are getting an error when trying to save usergroups or forum permissions.
