BTW I downloaded this VB 4.2.0 a couple of things...
The download lists its the pro version when its obviously not. The navbar tabs do not add automatically even on the default theme. |
I fixed the download, thanks.
Did you upload the contents of the folder vBNavTabs For vB 4.2 ONLY!!! or the Upload folder? And did you import the product xml in the XML folder or the XML folder found in the vBNavTabs For vB 4.2 ONLY!!! folder? Chris |

Not a problem, it happens to all of us. :)

Just a quick note, this has a version that is compatible with vB version 4.2.1 but it is in beta for the Pro version, it is being tested and should be released soon.

Hi Chris
I noticed that your product didn't offer second navbar for vb 4.2.x? Is there a way to make this possible? even if I use the normal navigation manager, I have to use second navbar but I'm stuck !! Any suggestions? Thanks. |
Actually in 4.2.x Pro version of the mod you can have unlimited navbars. There is one issue in 4.2.1 at the moment that vbulletin droptabs are not working in the additional navbars, but it will be fixed as soon as we get a chance to debug it.

Good Chris :)
When do you think you can fix your product? BTW, I'm now using vb4.2.1 and I'm ready to give your pro version a try, but I'm using this product too https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=283123 I use it to deal with sections, because I don't get any other product handle CMS sections like this one, so I want to ask if there is any conflict may occur when using your and Andreas products in the same time? and do your product have a good way to handle CMS sections like Andreas product do? Another point, you said your product can make unlimited navbars, so could I move any default tab (like blogs, what is new, forum ..) or tabs coming with products (like vbtube, photopost, experience, iReviews .....) to another navbar and work perfectly with there menus and links? I wish you can give me a reply as soon as possible because I'm in hurry :). Thanks in advance. |
I am hoping soon, the team is a bit swamped at the moment.
I am sure there would be some conflicts running both mods at the same time so that would not be recommended. What exactly does his mod do with the CMS, readding the description is a bit vague. any tab that is in the navigation manager will work in the additional navbar, with links and menus. Chris |
Hi Chris
I highly recommend you to install Andreas mod in vb4.2 copy of vbulletin to understand why all people need his hack. For me the most important part is the CMS sections, where you can assign section/s to a tab, then when you go to that/those sections that tab will be highlighted and articles tab not, even if you opened an article in one of those sections that tab will continue highlighted. So, if you can add this feature to your product yuo will solve the problems for a lot of people. Regards. |
