Hey Dark, i've just come across a small problem. I've set all of the awards to 0 as it turns out that members who make new threads get 2 points and if they reply to threads then they get 1 point without me allocating such points in the first place :(

I've been spending the past 2 hours trying to see how they're getting 2 points for new thread using a secondary account and can't seem to figure it out.

I want to offer them 5 points for new threads so is it worth me setting that to 3 (3 + the random 2 making it 5) and 1 point for posting replies so leaving that option to 0 cause of the random 1 point out of the blue for posting replies? As this might be a bug with the current version?

If it's not a bug then could you please help me solve this little problem? :D

Thanks

(P.S. It's 3:35am lol so my apologies if the above doesn't make 100% sense :p)

k, thank you, now I get how it works, but for some reason I still cannot see the credits.gif image. I checked all the templates edit too (as in the install txt file..) but nothing, this image doesn't want to appear..
Meanwhile I changed in the template the condition to show the credits image, and I used the same as the "infractions" one. So now the credits.gif image shows up to the admin (because the infractions one is active) and the link related (http://www.myspace.com/forum/credits.php?p=xxxx) actually works fine.
So the problem should really be in the "if" condition.
If you have any other suggestion where the problem could be in the original If condition I'd really appreciate it.

Another little problems I've found is in Vbadvance:
if i click on the "check" link in the welcome box in vbadvance the link is
http://www.mywebsite.com/credits.php?do=banking
and of course I get an error page.
If I enter the forum and I click on "check" in the welcome box of the forum the link is
http://www.mywebsite.com/forum/credits.php?do=banking
and it works fine.

any tip how could I solve this problem?

Quick Question, If I have someone a part of a few usergroups and each usergroup has a different award amount for certain things is that a conflict? I have my basic group as 50 for referrals but if they're in the VIP group they get 500 credits for a referral, but I'm only seeing the 50 be put into their account unless I remove them from the basic group.

Massiero.
In your vBCredits settings, there is a area that ask you to put in all files that need to be associated with vBAdvanced. trying typing in file name, which I think is vbcredits.php. I'm at work right now, so I can' give you a more definite answer.

rknight111 05-31-2008 01:07 PM

Im thinking about adding this feature to my board, the only thing im wondering is my members are quite compedative and have built there casino $$ up quite a bit, now what would happen to that when I add this, is there a converter for that, or a process, or is this not compadable with that?

Thanks,
RON
