Installed and working fine on both of my vB 3.6.1 forums and viewable in IE and FF. I'm using the halloween witch for the time being. Going to make my own graphics for this.

I'd like to restrict the falling effects to just the forumdisplay pages or on my vBAdvanced front end pages, however, as I think it's too annoying to have when you are posting a message or viewing a thread list. Would also save on CPU as well.

Anyone know how to do that?

its good but effect2 is only showing to the end of the first post really, is there no way it can show the whole way to the bottom of the page?

Wow this is an old thread...lol I think its the right ocassion to revisit though; at least the right time of year :)

I'd like to add some snow to my site for the holiday season, but I am a total and I mean total NEWBIE to mods/hacks. I have a decent site started so far www.americaoutloud.org.

I just wanted to know if someone could walk me through the process on IM one evening.

ALSO:

1. Has anyone been able to have this mod only work on the "homepage"?

2. Can it be controlled through the admin function

You can add gif files in the "effects" folder and use the "big snowflakes" javascript to point to any picture you want.

noted. but there is'nt any gif files on other effects for hari raya and lunar new year.

anyone has gold ingots gif pictures to share?:D

in addition, after further investigation:
when the page loads that has this effect added to it's template
in IE7
there's a notice at the bottom in bar that it is 'Done' but with errors on page
