Hey Abe1;
I just installed the hack and have a few questions: - After the hack is installed, how do we actually use it? Meaning is there something within the AdminCP or do we have to browse to the loginlog.php? - I just installed it, but I'm getting an error message: Quote:
I'm not a total n00be, but perhaps I'm doing something wrong? Joe |
Great plugin. For a future release I might suggest logging cookie log ins.

I had a version of this for 3.0.x that logged logins-via-cookie as well adn I found it extremely helpful. Most of my users are co-located and so being able to see whather they had to put their username and password in when they accessed their account during a given session can be very useful when someone complains that they aren't the ones who posted something under their account. |
Sorry for the bump, does anyone have any ideas? Please see post #81 above.

Nice idea.
(maybe it should be in folder "extensions" as this plugin requires to upload files). |
Works great on 3.5.3 ... no problems whatsoever :)
One question though : Can I make it useable for mods too ? |

Nice hack :)
It'd be great in future to have the IP addresses for failed logins for at least admin and supermod accounts - I guess that's what the 3.0.x hack linked earlier in this thread was good for. |
ty Abe1
working great o vB3.5.3 *installed |
Thanks Abe!

Is it possible to track users by visit or do they actually need to post in order for their ip address to be recorded?

I'm aware of that. ;) I'm just curious if it's possible to track users by visit. Tracking the logins is great, but once someone logs in they no longer have to (the one's that check the 'remember me' box anyways). With users purchasing premium content, I need a way to make sure no one is getting around the system by 30 different people using the same login. :)

You rock Abe. :)

Thanks for this hack :) It'll help me to better track down multiple account users, which I seem to have a big problem with on my board! Installed without any hassle, and working sweetly on 3.5.3! :) |

Installed this hack and now I can't log in to my forum or my admin CP. Please help. My forum generates a fair percentage of my income.
I get the following error (I've removed my details for obvious reasons): Database error in vBulletin 3.5.3: Invalid SQL: INSERT INTO logins (userid, username, ipaddress, phpdate, logintype) VALUES (1, 'xxxxxxx', 'xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, 1139754764, 'cplogin'); MySQL Error : Unknown column 'userid' in 'field list' Error Number : 1054 Date : Sunday, February 12th 2006 @ 07:32:44 AM Script : http://www.musclefemme.com/forum/login.php Referrer : http://www.musclefemme.com/forum/admincp/index.php IP Address : xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Username : xxxxxx Classname : vb_database |
Update:
I just discovered that if I go directly to the admin CP url and try to log in, this happens - I get the error message in my above post in my browser. If I then press the back button which takes me back to admin CP login screen and click the link to my forum, I am logged in (only on my forum, not admin CP). Still can't access admin or mod CP though. |
