Just for you... here's the RC3 version of Steel Blue (just like the green and purple flavours, this one has the SEO'd navbar etc as well.)

As for Steel Red, find some way of getting me a day off work and I will deliver. (Weekends don't count. That's Kall Time. ;) )

Blackbeard 09-21-2005 02:10 PM

Very nice m8, where do i go to add other icons like the green and white pile, and change the ones allready there??

robertwo 09-22-2005 07:20 AM

Thanks mate appreciated, installed and working well. :)

hehe day off work - I'll do me best ;)

I'm tryin to test this template on my localhost but something's wrong
take a look at this image, the gradients and some images are not showing!
I uploaded the plugins file!

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/

and take a look at how my footer is looking!

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/

anyway to fix this mess?

Wow, where'd you get those cool images from? (the icons and buttons and such...?)

VaaKo 09-23-2005 06:45 PM

what are you talkin about?

Kirk Y 09-23-2005 07:20 PM

Nothing is wrong with it Lebanese. The first picture is how it's supposed to look... and for you footer; this style was designed to be used with the Quick Style Chooser, turn it on and it'll look as it should. You could also use colspan to fix it if you don't want to turn the QSC on.

kall, i just love this style. I am using it on a finnish forum with 5500 members, and i would like to translate the buttons to finniish language.

Could you tell me what the font in the buttons is called?

MGunnin 10-04-2005 01:05 AM

Hoping for a upgrade for 3.5.0 gold. Can't wait.

It's called Anime Ace...coincidentally. ;)

(*points at own 'real name'*)

@MGunnin: it works fine for 3.5 Gold... I will be releasing it 'properly' (ie: recoding from scratch 3.5 templates) some time soonish. :)

Can someone post a copy of the steel blue navbar template for 3.5.0. I have a right mess trying to sort out issues with the vbadvanced navbar.

At first i want to apologize if this was duscussed before. but it's hard to read 7 pages englisch text when you are from germany and your english isn't that well. but now to my Question:

In the Image you can see the 2 red marks. I want to know, how i can add the Welcome [Username] at the right side again, and i want to know how i can rmove these 2 images at the left. I hope you can give me an answer. :)

OFFSHORE DAN 10-06-2005 07:34 PM

You have to import the plugin. :)

OFFSHORE DAN 10-06-2005 07:47 PM

Hey I thought it was pretty cool to be able to see the MSNspider going through the site. How much of the SEO stuff is actually in it? Great that you actually wrote it in. I hope this becomes the new standard for styles to include this.

kall 10-06-2005 07:54 PM

Well.. the headinclude has a conditional for Polls and the navbar has a
attribute applied to the lastelement .. and the Forum title/description and thread title show in the navbar to increase keword density on the pages (but that last one is somewhat achieved by default vb.)

GoNz00 10-08-2005 03:19 PM

hope you can help, i use the unread posts plugin on my boards without problem, i have installed your skin today (very nice i must say) and have a bug issue with it. in the attached pic you will see the unread posts showing twice, it only does this on your skin, can you help me please? i have no clue where to start looking and would like to keep your skin.

thanks G.

GoNz00 10-08-2005 03:44 PM

im afraid i am going to have to remove this skin as nice as it is, theres just 2 much going off in there and its conflicting with other hacks im not prepared to lose..

edit, going to spend monday trying to remove the stuff thats conflicting

GoNz00 10-09-2005 11:29 AM

ok its installed again, with the conflicts removed, now how do i get rid of that timer that says when the forums were opened ?

it says 6 days and it should be 4 years, ?

edit, found it thanks :)

GoNz00 10-09-2005 11:52 AM

SpanishHarlem 10-10-2005 04:53 AM

SpanishHarlem 10-10-2005 05:02 AM

@all: To change the Date thing in the Forum Home, edit the FORUMHOME template.

Look for
Code:

//This date should be less than today
and change the date underneath that to your own.

To remove it, remove everyting within that
Code:

bit.

Dunno about the doubleup bit..
