Rebuild your phrases by just saving one of them again in the admin CP

tough to say - its making good progress - but it is A LOT of coding. I am also going to be out of comission the back end of next week for a good week or two. So I would bank on sometime around then.

Very cool. Will your hack support multiple banner spots? What I mean by that is can you specify different ads to be say, on the top of a page, and others on the bottom, in two different rotations? It would be cool to have a membership paid rotation, and then just normal ads that we pick. Maybe this is how it will work already? Either way it sounds awesome. I can't wait! :)

It already supports multiple ads. Overfolwed ads go to ad1, ad2, ad3 etc... :)

You really should do this for each phrase group. Saying that - your admincp shouldnt really be affected by that. You sure you ran the install?

yeh i ran the installer then had to edt global.php twice and the admincp/index.php as the installer couldnt

Geek, mate, I have my own banner system running at www.avforums.com which is working fine and caters for about 20 million impressions per month.
A few features we have are
* campaign management where it's possible to set up one advert which runs across several 'zones'
* automatic creation of the zones from forum information
* geographic targetting (serve banners only to people from specific countries)
* distributed ad serving which serves banners (in specific zones) to the people who have seen them least.
* serves Google Adsense in locations where adverts are not sold.
* daily impressions and click reports

What I don't have is a vBulletin back end because I don't have time to learn vBulletin coding particularly deeply and I am happy to administer the system usnig phpMyAdmin.

when i try to set an add.

make sure there is a folder called gab in your forum directory and it is chmod to 0777 ;)

hmmm. did you run the gab_install file? The db portion of the install creates that table.

Yes i did, , it went through the installatio ok and told me i had to make changes to 2 steps

Also i noted that your picture with options is different to mine, Is this new additions.

I also have problems with the install on a fresh vb install (3.07). Some tables would not create, and settings seem to be wrong. For example, if I select Record number of times shown? (this is a table insert every time a banner is shown!) yes and submit, it comes back to no.

Well - actually I have totally re-written the packages side of things anyway to integrate with GAL as well as to allow multiple banner creations per package.

So in essence each package can contain 0 or more banners and 0 or more GAL entries.

Ill try and find out why the packages table didnt get created - but in the meantime I would just hold off with the packages - they are for the user cp which isnt even partially complete in this beta. Saying that - the banner side of things should be fully functional.

The Geek I seen this and was happy that you was making a banner script but then I see it is kinda like the rest in that it doesnt allow HTML ads. :(

Not sure what you mean by HTML ads. It allows static, rotating banners, and flash ads.

That side of things is working - and as far as I am aware, that side of things gives you more control and versatility than any other banner ad (feel free to correct me if I am wrong)

What I am working on right now is the usercp side of things.
It will allow users to browse packages of ads for sale, buy them, upload their own ads, edit them, and get statistics on the ads the already own.

I am talking about like if I join a banner exchange and they give me an IFRAME to use...
Will that work in this?

I'm getting the image on the left in my admincp instead of the one on the right side.

for redirection errors - make sure that there is no leading http:// (though this will change in future versions).

for the missing phrase in the admincp:
add a phrase in the Control Panel Global section called 'GAB_add_ad' the value should be 'New Ad'

Venom- I dont use ucash so I doubt it would make the final release. I can look into it then - or someone else can do an add on for it.

Use the test link to test around your settings to make sure you are indeed producing results ;)
