It looks as if it's not your fault, I am looking at it now, and it shouldn't have any relation to the statistics. Just one question, if you do not mind. Can you please tell me, how can I check in a template (header), what browser the user is using? I think I have to come up with different header versions for IE and the rest.

I have couple questions.

1. Is there a Read me text for this mod cause I downloaded the zip and couldnt find the read me text.
2. In version 2.0 we can configure things through admincp and after uninstallation I still have the StatisticSetting. How can i get rid of it ?
3. In version 3 can we control it through admincp also ?
4. System check didn't work at all. Didn't show any information (see attached file) Is there a way to fix this ?

4) Download the zip.file again. You must do one step to activate a counter.

I would love to install this hack, as I could really make use of it to attract advertisers, but I am running vBadvanced CMPS and I would need to be certain that I could use it without any bugs...

Is anyone planning on finding a solution to this problem?

Hello

I have now 3 time again installed this hack, but I get no statistics at some fields.
I would not know how that comes, I have really done everything such as am described, but nothing helps. I had in the beginning already a wrong message from my database.

But that I had solved by taking away FROM $dbname from de forum.php (thnx to Ian Emu-UK)

I know that some users get problems with vBAdvanced and the statistic because the headinclude template was changed by vBAdvanced, too.

You didn't do as instructed and put the include statement on the end of the 'phpinclude_start' file. You placed it inside a comment block and thus will not be executed.

Now that looks really weird, it is a combination of a DELETE and a SELECT statement.

I don't have this hack installed, so you better wait for the author to reply on this one.

I found a problem/error and have no idea how to solve it (exept uninstall :) )

here you can find my statistic:

But they arent correct. I entered on my site using via links, lynx & konkueror couple times; using 4 diferent hosts; 9 diferent system accounts (on this hosts) and 6 vB accounts.
Should be at least 15 apears for each browser (pic1&2) and 3 time more linux.

I've noticed that statistics sometimes count browser after doing couple "system check" refresh.

Aditionally when in my network (one shared public adres) 3 or more persons browse forum, "system check" tab shows total nonsens. (pic3)
Im wondering which data are really read and put to database...

U can test it and see result immediately because i set cron job to one minute...

And last thing.
In 'The 10 most viewed threads':

This error mean that you want delete short referer entries.
But there are no short referer in the database.
Perhaps, there is nothing to delete.
Limit 0 or Limit 1000.
A division by 0 is an error.

Your just logging (default) every 30 minutes

If I may offer a suggestion for future releases, one thing I believe every admin would love to see, is statistics about the URL used to leave from the site. For example, if someone has some advertising banners, the statistics on which banner the members clicked to leave from the forum, would be very welcome. Sort of ... invert-referrer.

If that could be added, it would make a lovely hack even better.

ooops! I wasnt clear - diferent hosts mean also diferent IP - i have access to 4 computer with shell accounts. So ip adresses are absolutelly diferrent.

im sorry - i fixed permision for 'Not Logged In' users. Now you can see what i see... :)

But this is a minor problem. Im curious why Links & Lynx arent included in statistic...

Because these browsers are very exotic.
I have not found a browserstamp (agent) to detect this browsers.
Lynx will detect with the agent "lynx" (you linx agent must use an other agent) and the browser "link" was unknown for me.
Never heard something about this browser. Sorry...
They logged under the point "not identified" browsers

One small problem I've noticed.

There was a thread with no replies, in one of the forums. I had it moved to another forum, because it didn't fit in the original place it was. Then I re-run the Show the 10 latest threads with no replies, and that particular thread appears twice, once in the proper place it is now, and another time. If you click in the second link, it gives the following error:

No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the webmaster

Minor inconvenience, but you may want to look into it.

Needed just one new data insert and just one new condition.

I was going through a few things, and I'm seeing a lot of duplicates in the 'No Replies' listing. One link works but the other is a Thread Not Found. Any idea what would cause this?

EDIT ADD: I also have found several entries which have replies in the thread. I'll read back through the whole thread here in case I missed something, but if not - Any ideas?

The same. I will write better querys.
(I m not sure. Perhaps the problem separates of alone. There are few scheduled tasks inside vbulletin. I do not know exactly. But it could be that one of this task delete the duplicate links daily or weekly :ermm: )
