Now that Gamma is out, are you still taking submissions from the betas? I never did get mine in yet and at the moment I can't upgrade to Gamma cause my damn members area access expired...

Since all templates are changed from Beta to Gamma (a major PITA) sure, go ahead and submit. :) We may just move straight to the new style rather than stick with what we've got. :)

Can we at least keep the blue style? I love it :)

we have not yet decided how we will do it, but i think the old ones will stay selectable ;)

So much changed... Took me from 3 pm to 7 am in the morning to upgrade my private forums... most of the work was because of the changed templates, some of which have been split into several e.g. MODIFY. Also, some of the functions files were split and changed - gave me headaches with some of my hacks. :)

Why don't we upgrade to Gamma, and use the default style first? Trust me, the style changes in Gamma will modifying MOST if not ALL the current templates. Everything has been rearranged. It would be a nightmare to modify the styles we have.

I really suggest that... I tried doing that with my beta style and failed miserably :|

well, we always said the end of this competition would be after the vb3 gold release, so the competitiors could have had enough time to get the final templates ;)

i think it may take one month from now on, so enough time to start a new style ;)

Is plain green going away? I really enjoy it. I may have to make "Even Plainer Green" and submit it as an entry so I don't lose my favorite style.

I hope vb.org will keep a dark style around if chossen a light one. Much eaiser on my eyes :p

Nope, Plain green will stay (as it's my fav ;))

DB will stay as well, it will just loose it's status as Official vb.org Main Style.

As for the other Styles, i don't know currently, we'll think about it :)

Are we allowed to do mockups of the style? I'm not too great of a coder but I can put together a pretty good mockup.

nope, as then we would have too much work in coding that specific style and all...

It's a contest, for complete styles, but you may find someone who helps ya with the code.
Multiple person submissions are allowed as Logician said, just one has to take over the responsibility for the Style :)
