I had this hack working. I had it set up as non-gd. Well I moved servers and redid the hack. Now only some of the images show up and some show are red Xs. If you right click the red Xs and hit show picture they will appear. HELP! :(

try reuploading the jpeg files and make sure they in binary

Its kinda random. So letters show up and some don't its not the same ones all the time. I hit refresh and do it over and over and different letters appear. I have it set to use a word list. For example one of the words on the list is SUPRA sometimes the U and P are missing and sometimes the S and A, etc.

uninstall the hack and try again
i know its a pain but i had to do this
infact i stopped using it i moved to version 2.3 release 3
but i didn;t have those kinds of problems

Yeah. That was 2 1/2 weeks ago and still no updated file. I had to disable this since sooooo many newbies couldn't register. :(

Yeah, I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 hacks implemented, so it looks like I'll be clicking "uninstall" this weekend and spending all my free time hacking 2.3.

Is 2.3 in it's final release yet? I never got an e-mail telling me it was ready, but my admincp tells me it's the newest one.

I installed but disabled it since there were too many complaints that they see multiple Red Xs instead of just 1 Red X. I think I be waiting for a fix.

i think development has ceased since version 2.30 has this by default Erwin actually even told me to upgrade which i am now better off

OK .. I was testing the site via Forum Admin and when I went to the registration page the image gave a blank .. the site is not offically up ... not till 1st jan 00:01
