I'd try and help you, but I can't even use my itemshop. I'd look for the code that lists them items on the itemshop screen, I don't know much about this sort of thing, so I have no idea.

I think that would be an excellent idea also, because if the stock goes down in the regular itemshop of a certain item, you can sell that item (if you have it) for higher in your itemshop to make profit off of it. I was confused at the making of items when I first saw it, but maybe if it were possible to pay a high price, you could make your own item.

I suggested this and I'm sure Vivi already knows about the problem. In his next version you should be able to see items in the postbit (hopefully ;))

#1. Make sure you don't have any of the custom fields used from the previous itemshop hack, if you installed it. This includes "weapon", "helmet", etc. I found this to be a problem with me when I tried to install the new itemshop, so I removed those fields.

#2. Field5 is your point field, correct?

And...get back to me if that doesn't fix it.

This is the only itemshop I have, so I've passed #1 with flying colors.
field5 is my point field, and I have it set to field5 in the items option.

Now I am getting back to you, because that doesn't fix it.

Uninstall the whole thing, and try again but more carefully. Thats the only advice I have for you, because I'm not too sure where the problem might be residing. Uninstall the tables and templates from phpmyadmin, then revert php file changes. Though I recommend you just wait till Vivi releases the updated version, since it may very well fix your problem. And if this next version requires a fresh installation, you will have to remove it anyway.

Since Vivi made it to where the templates are made as original, how do you delete them?

Go into phpmyadmin, and you will have to delete them manually from there. (goto table: template, then click on browse, and then manually delete all templates with prefix itemshop.) I'm not very good with queries yet, but I'm sure somebody could make you one that removes all the templates with one swift step. :D

I think I may be actually getting the hang of the whole PHP & MySQL thing....................or not.

No. I just took out everything and decided to wait until the new version, since it will have more stuff anyway. I didn't have the shop open to users as it was, so there was no loss.

Sounds like a dumb question, and probably no point now, but did you install the two point hacks prior to installing itemshop?

I only installed the Points hack from Palmer OfShinra, why, was there another thing I had to install?

I dunno if it might have made any difference, but I also installed the add-on to it, which lets you earn points by posting

Vivi included that in the itemshop hack, and he even made a field in the Admin CP where you could edit how much they got. I don't think it matters if it was previously installed.

I don't know what your talking about either. Vivi's new item shop will integrate Iguacu's addon. I just can't wait to install this updated version, I hope he fixed some of the problems before :D

If you have it and you refresh the page it will automatic gives you points... can you fix it?

oh, can u change the interests on the bank?? i thnk 10percent is way too much, some of my members already have like 2000 points and 10% would totally be too much.

also, if you try to buy the same item, u keep the same one, your money is intact at the right amount, but it shows one more for the sold counter. it also says thanks for shopping, but im guessint that would req another template.

i was wondering the same.... i looked into the database... and i see in user there is item1 item2 + item3 and evrythign else 1,2,3 i have 3 categorys so i figuired they would be it............. but
it just shows this "Resource id #8" or another number..... ??

I also use Lesanes store hack along side itemshop and i want itemshops "gil" to appear under LesaneStores Points in my postbit, Please advise on how to go about this

well, you can change the way items are displayed in the postbit in the functions.php part. you can use $catstuff[name] to display the name.

as for the points field.... $post[fieldx] i think, where x is the number of your field.

Yes this is a problem with the original point system add-on by posting. But Vivi made fixed the code himself in the original add-on, so this itemshop shouldn't have a problem. If so still, then replace:

Is there anyway to make the Points Field part of the Itemshop Admin options bigger? Right now I can only put in 6 characters into the box and I need seven. I tried to enter field26, but it changed it to field2. Please assist.
