That would be great as subscriptions is what most long terms advertisers use. Right now Im using adpeeps and it works fine for subscriptions however it looks very unprofessional and has frequent issues.

If i do that, it displays the errors in the browser to the public. I have found the error_log file and im downloading it which i can send to you :)

Create banner slot, insert price...etc.... the banners are not visible anywhere. and has no errors ... display_error = on in php.ini

So please consider to add also some other banner places inside the threads.
For example, after 1? post, 3?, 4?, etc.. or for example 1 banner place after each 3 posts of a thread.

sorry but after some time ago I had to close the plugin for a complete configuration, (before was working) when i have reopened today it say:

Admin, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1) Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2) If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

So what to do??

I bet your user id is not set to super administrator in includes/config.php

Yes I have checked the config.php and it is set good.
The strange thing is that also all the other users receive the same message.
It is impossible to enter in that section ("Advertise with us") giving always the same message to all kind of users.
But before was working... :confused:

No, you will not lose settings. Settings are saved in the database, which will not be overwritten by uploading new files and re-importing the .xml file.

To update you need to install all files including the .xml.

What was the steps you took to update the mod?

I have unistalled it from "Plugin and Products" in the acp and after i have uploaded again the files and folders by ftp and reinstalled the xml file.
In the end I had no transactions open..
But I loose:

Banner Spaces (created by me)
Packages (created by me)
and Prices (....

That is where you went wrong. NEVER uninstall before upgrading unless you are specifically told to in the upgrading instructions. Uninstalling prior to upgrading in almost all cases WILL DELETE your previous settings - this is not want you typically want to do with any mod.

You will not find the word "uninstall" in the upgrade instructions of this mod (or almost any mod).

Instructions included with this mod:

The only way to recover your old settings is if you made a copy of the database prior to uninstalling.

It's all ok now and I have learned also another thing.... :) next time I will make more attention... ;)

Yesterday night I fixed all.
My provider have the daily backup of the database so I take the files loose (in the copy of the day before) and replaced in the new folders.
Now everything work fine.

Does the plugin allow for ad placement on specific subforums only, or is that something that would have to be done in the theme?

That would need to be edited in to your theme. You would either need to move an existing ad location, or create a new ad_location_*.xml file in the /includes/xml folder, then rebuild Forum Ads' integration via the Maintenance area. You should then be able to choose this new location for usage in Forum Ads :)

The banner under the very top right of the header covers part of the buttons there, like "Welcome," "Profile" "Settings"

I know someone posted some code that I can insert somewhere to fix this. Please repost or provide me the link...

RBS= Rotating Banner System. It is also an excellent (free) mod that allows you to place banners anywhere.

Unlike your system, one can place a code in a template and locate a banner anywhere on the webpage. This will allow me, for example, to place a banner in the center of the list of forums on the home page, or in a post.

As far as I know, RBS plays nice with your mod, so they can both be run at the same time to maximize monetization of a site.

It would be different CSS all together. I still see no banner in that position.

The ad on the right that says "your ad here 468x60 banner" is encroaching on the buttons at the top right. I need some css to move it down a small bit.

But looking at your site, I see no banner in the header area, closest thing I see is the google ads below the breadcrumb.

Wait, I had my ad blocker on, are you talking about the Project of the Month Winner banner? if not, you need to enable the banner so we can see the CSS definitions that need to be changed.

I cannot get Adsense to work with this mod- I entered the Adsense code in the banner space and the ad location and nothing.

Last, when I entered 468x60 banners to test, there is white space, AND the banner on the right header invades the top button space.

That white space is annoying. How can I get rid of that?

Here is the solution to moving the banner in the right header down so that it does not block the buttons on the top right:

Place this in the additional.css template:
Header #2 will clear the buttons, and header #1 will line up with it!
