mertiliuss 05-22-2013 02:34 PM

and your addond dating????

albibak 05-22-2013 02:48 PM

One more question :p

It's not possible to add an image in the review?

Burnt 05-22-2013 04:33 PM

Not sure if you saw my last bug or you haven't updated your site to the newest version but just in case. If you go to your Call of Duty Review http://www.christeris.net/dev42/revi...l-of-duty.html, you will see that the 3 users have voted a 8, 7 and a 7 the last I checked. Although the rating now says a -.07 for Community Rating due to the fact I had deleted demouser3's rating and rerated and I also changed demouser1 down to an 8 from a previous 10 that I had posted a page back.

*EDIT* I see you responded so going to assume you just haven't updated your site yet with the newest?

CharlieDelta 05-22-2013 06:11 PM

Chris I have a very strange problem. When I create test review and add text within the editor it formats just fine. (Line breaks) http://www.canadianriflesregiment.co...ew/3/test.html

But when another member does a review there are no line breaks. It is one large paragraph.
http://www.canadianriflesregiment.co.../terraria.html

Any ideas?

albibak 05-22-2013 07:32 PM

Idea for a future feature:

- Have the possibility to have a review's preview before submit.
- Have the possibility to configure the rank by 5, 10 or 20), to have note on 5, 10 or 20 points.
- Have the possibility to put image into the text of the review.
- Change the image "write a review" by a text (easier to translate ^^)

albibak 05-22-2013 07:38 PM

BUG:

vb 4.2.1 and Reniew 1.2.1:

When a member post a review, and I click on the button "write a review", to give my rank.
All the informations are complete, and I click Submit.
Next, I have the error message that I ranked this reniew. For sure, it's false.

My usergroup have all the permission to yes.

You can do some of that in the files. I had added 0 for Not Rated Yet on my test forum seemed to work fine and not cause problems so adding more or taking away a few wouldn't be to much different. Just would have to add or take away some of the phrases this uses..

albibak 05-22-2013 08:39 PM

Yes, but I think it's better in native :)

A missing $ was causing the problem. Fixed in 1.2.2

Christos Teriakis 05-23-2013 06:54 AM

Reviews 1.2.2 released to fix 2 reported bugs:
1.- Wrong rating when a user deletes his ratings
2.- Wrong message "You have already rate this review". I have fixed it in an earlier version but I forgot to correct the security check before saving data.

To upgrade:
1.- Upload reviews.php and reviews_usercp.php
2.- Import product-reviews.xml. This is optional just to update the version number.

Thank you for you kind offer, but its a long time that I left behind the task "Translations". As a proof I'll say that even if I've released 30+ mods since 2006, none of them I translated even in my own language.
You're free to translate any of my mods, as you're also free to sell these translations. But post them as attachment in your own posts.

No ideas when it comes to deal with vb editor. Just try to set "Enchanged editor for users".

Hi Christos.
Thanks for the update.

But what a ++++ing bug now ^^

I can rate a review, but it's the reviewer's avatar who appears on my rate.

Sorry, can't replicate this bug. Try to clear your system cache and your browser's cache. Also try with a different browser.

albibak 05-23-2013 07:28 AM

Done!
But always the same problem.

Tested with Chrome & IE
Cache clear.

The rating post after the new release. As you can see the demouser1 rating has not the review's author avatar. Let's wait if someone else has this problem.

Try to import the attached product xml file. Will fix the username link. The old one assumed that I had the user menu popup that's why it stayed there.

Christos Teriakis 05-23-2013 08:44 AM

@albibak
@Dave_The_Don
----------------
I need your installation URL (with permissions to Guets to access Review) to check the page code. Also I need to know if you're storing avatars in database or filesystem

albibak 05-23-2013 08:45 AM

Yes, now, the link go to the member's tests.

albibak 05-23-2013 08:45 AM

I store the avatar on the filesystem
& URL by mail ;)

Dave_The_Don 05-23-2013 08:56 AM

filesystem used also

Dave_The_Don 05-23-2013 09:05 AM

Dave_The_Don 05-23-2013 09:06 AM

Please give one more try at the review: http://www.christeris.net/dev42/revi...l-of-duty.html
I've messed the others with manual database changes. Only this is clear.

Dave_The_Don 05-23-2013 09:21 AM

Yes, but if you check it again you'll see that after deleting your avatar it shows "No Avatar" which is correct. What it means? That once again that guru at vB coding team have changed the avatar link. And as always no info of it. I need to check what they changed in the code.

Dave_The_Don 05-23-2013 09:28 AM

i have every faith in you, brilliant mod btw, what time scedule are we looking at for the PRO version to be available

Christos Teriakis 05-23-2013 09:44 AM

Reviews 1.2.3 released with 2 bug fixes:
  1. Dead link on username (User rating list under review)
  2. Wrong avatar link which caused to show the author's avatar
To upgrade:
  1. Upload reviews.php
  2. Import product-reviews.xml

Should not be a PRO version at least the way that you know from other scripts. Should be a special version with some extra features as a complimentary gift to those who will pay to remove the copyright.

Dave_The_Don 05-23-2013 09:49 AM

what cost will the donation more likely be for the remove copyright, and what extra features could these be
