I tried to install this mod but I can't get fbaccesstoken.
A new user is created, facebook group ID and secret are correct.
After saving the settings, fbaccesstoken is not clickable. I suppose it should be.
Also I have only one template listed and there should be two.

There is something wrong with your PHP check.
My host is running 5.4.31, but when I tried to install your plugin, it says not compatible with PHP 5.3.29

Try this. Uninstall .xml. Install .xml and overwrite.

Only set fb id and secret id. Then save. Then fbaccesstoken will be available to connect to your app.

This happens when you jump the gun and start configuring before getting access to your token.

Unlikely. You can remove the check from the .xml, but its a functionality requirement. Be 100% that your host is at the php version.

On a sidenote, this is also available for vB5. A lite version will be released soon for vB5.

I did that but I get the same result with a blank page in my admincp. Then the only way to get it back is to disable hooks in config.php file and disable your product.

Was able to get this installed, got it working.
but it's not quite doing what I thought it would do.

In the video it shows that it will display pictures, and give credit back to the posters on facebook.

Ya this doesn't quite work the way I thought it would.
It appears to only bring over 1 picture from a FB post? If a user on FB posts something and has multiple pictures, only 1 carries over to the forum?

Also, it doesn't appear that comments on a FB post are carried over to the forum?

I'm also not seeing anything that gives the FB user credit on the forum, or any links back to the FB post? Is that correct?

This is neat in theory but doesn't seem complete.

I also noticed that not all post on FB appear to come over.
I created one earlier in the day, it never posted to the forum

I even ran the task and still not appearing.

Go to my FB group, and the one talking about the old audio sticker.

Then go to the forum, not there.

Any ideas?

uninstalling, neat idea but if someone replies to a FB post, the reply doesn't show in the forum. You basically start to get 2 different conversations going, and people will just ask the same questions in both places.

I dont know if I screwed up but I saw I tried to install this as a product.

Now I am getting this error & can not go to any adminCP tabs

This means you didn't upload all the files to the plugin properly.

We're you able to get this going? Its' likely your facebook app is setup incorrectly.

The key is bringing this facebook content to your forum, which you will rank for in google. This will drive additional traffic to your forum that you otherwise would have never gotten.

I'm vbsocial VIP and I have problem with installation of this mod.

When I click in "Get token Acess", vBulletin give me a blank page.

If your "FACEBOOK CONNECT" login BUTTON for vbulletin shows and works for single login, your app is set up correctly.

Just use the same api key and secret

Your pictures show that it posts comments in the thread, but in reality it just makes new thread.
Uninstalling, bought it only because of that (making conversation in threads, rather than spamming each reply and reply as a new thread).

Will this ever 2 way sync? FB to VB and VB to FB

This mod has a lot of potential for my site.

I have vendors who have both FB pages and sections on my site. It would be great if their FB posts would show up in their forum sections.

Is there a way to enable this for pages that I am not the FB admin to post to my forums?

If this is something that could be setup, I would be all over this and would pay for it.

Hey The errors are just errors occurring from premium functions not being allowed. (Not sure why thats occurring specifically, but does not occur in premium vers or on most lite installs for that fact... might be a foreign language character issue..

Does it sync only the Facebook posts, or comments as well? For us it is only syncing posts.

Also, it does not mention "Posted by FBusername" on the posts.

If you made a plugin like that and synced the comments too, I'd definitely buy both products.

I don't really like each new comment appearing on a separate post. As discussion between members is lost when viewing/posting on forums. Hence, they'd just stick with facebook for discussion instead of my forum.
