It was later but i fixed it by reinstall but wow! it took 6+ hours to finish importing. it actually adds a list of fields to each user account and with 1.5 million, it took a lot to alter all these tables :/

I wish there was a quicker way for this.

HTTPS Does NOT work. Remove the "S" to HTTP in URL and it (the Player) works. Bit of a pain in the ass to let all members know to do this.

Is there a way i can only offer only one video option and have it displayed to the right of the 'About Me' basic information.

Just imported as instructions suggestion. It said it all was fine but nothing is showing at all

im not 100% sure about this. but the DEMO link in this thread no longer is a DEMO to this addon. its some other addon. i thought the same thing. i also looked in the same place you^^ did and nothing shows.

Pointless DEMO link.

Do you want it as a tab in profile?
I turned the demo back on and I do have a video tab for you to look at..

Demo is working now..
I had it turned off ,,working on other options..

It wasnt coded to use https..
I`ll look into it tho..

Hey there Mr Stangger 5, I think it is over a year ago since you tried to get this to work in my acp.
Not sure if you remember?

Anyway, news is that it works now and the reason is the same as above. It's the https jobbie.
I have done away with the s and all is fine.

I`ve been playing around with some more options..
Added:
Hulu
Dailymotion
Facebook
Metacafe
and a Video tab,,
with the Youtube page and Youtube share..

The member can choose which one they want to use..

I could add anther one for https Youtube..

Video tab is a good idea. I guess that means the user can get full screen.

A playlist option might be nice too if you can be bothered.
I don't mean a list of titles that people read. I would think a linear, vertical scroll of a user list, all open at full screen, displayed on the same page. Maybe 5 on each page would be preferable?

Wouldnt you want it on a page by itself ?
tabs are great ideas. im just very aware that there is all this space to the right of the info that would be good to use to balance the information access. tabs on the profile are already enough with all the addition of quote and tag tabs

All you need to do,,to get https to work is:
change
PHP Code:
$youidfull = substr_replace($youid, "", 0, 31); 
to
PHP Code:
$youidfull = substr_replace($youid, "", 0, 32); 
You can edit the xml file or Mini Youtube in Profile plugin..

Doing this will stop all the videos with just http from working..

you know what, and im most likley the last to know because i don't use IE.

but when accessing youtube videos using IE browser, there is no https:// its only http://
hows that work.

All of a sudden a week or two ago, the youtube videos are not showing up properly. We've had this running for years with no issue. Here is an example of what it looks like.

if you want to get this working on ssl you also have to change http to httpS in the template myt_memberinfo_new_block_youtube like...

I've tried this plugin on a new vb 4.2.5 but it didn't show the videos. Not sure if this version works with 4.2.5
