How would I go about changing the position of the navigation tab for 4.2? When I try to disable the tab in the plugin manager and recreate it with the navigation manager I get an error. It would be a shame to have to uninstall this and start from square one in looking for a gallery solution.

I haven't tried to create the tabs in the nav manager. Since the number of galleries is dynamic, makes it hard to deploy something with hardcoded values. Also, you don't need to disable it in the plugins. There is an option when you are editing the instance to display the nav link or not. Just set Navigation Link? to No Dylan |
Yeah, I know, but, I want the navtab, just not at the end.
The error I get is "Fatal error: Cannot use object of type vB_Session as array in /home/arbjb84/public_html/includes/functions.php on line 8986" It pretty much disables my entire forum. Whenever I go to any section I have that error on a blank white page. |
Hey! Do you have an importer from Photopost vBGallery?
If so I'll buy yours! Kym |
i renamed the gallery but didnt update

I just PMed you admin access. The same thing happened with another mod and I remember he said something about the tab being dynamic but, he basically said the tab had to be that way for whatever reason.
EDIT: I was able to fix it. Now, if only I could figure out that other one. |
Not quite sure if this has already been asked, but is it possible to add an agelock to certain categories?

For some reason this interferes with Vaultwiki and iBid. When Vault Wiki is enabled on my forum and I go to edit an image, the display is distorted and there are two error messages at the top and with iBid, when viewing the image the Auctions tab is selected. When I disable both products everything works well. I will contact Vault Wiki about the error messages because the error is coming from those files.
EDIT: I contacted vault wiki and was told "Scripts that use vBulletin's editor need to make sure they load the following $specialtemplates: Code:
'smiliecache', How do I go about fixing this? |

It has the correct value. The correct tab is selected up until I click on the image to view it.

<i>Hello,</i>
First of all I am one of your member and very happy with you. Hello, I wonder if we can have a slidershow for a scrolling photo or image automatically ? |

You can already add tags to the images. When you are viewing an image you can click a tag to view all images with the same tag. Searching is already there and it will include the title, description and tags in the search. Dylan |

I'll try and think of a way to mark it as adult. Maybe a little 18+ that's watermarked on a corner of the thumbnail on the fly. I'm thinking about making it an option to not show the text below the thumbnails and put that text in a mouseover hover. That way you get more image bang for you webspace buck :) Dylan |

The admin sets the categories now anyway. You can restrict them from being able to keep albums if that's what you mean.

Hmmmm. SQL error after installing the gallery. I disabled your "Thank You" mod and the error disappeared. Then I re-enabled the "Thank You" mod and disabled the Gallery mod, and there was no error. Seems there is a conflict with running your two mods together on my install, or I missed some steps somewhere.
Database error in vBulletin 4.2.0: Code:
Invalid SQL: Code:

Is the CMS block working. Just curious

In the gallery are we allowed to change the title from 'Dragonbyte Gallery' to our own name? Also the DBTech - Gallery line at the top. Also for some reason when i upload a 514Kb file it ends up 1.78Mb on the site? Any idea what is wrong there? |
Hi there,
Manage to install the mod with no problem. But when uploading an image, it shows me a big "Image is missing". I've checked the upload folders and rights are 777 on all subfolders. I've noticed that owners are "apache" and "root". Is it normal? Any ideas? |
Great job on the gallery. Any chance of a few requests:
> When you search for an image, could you also include the image name below the image like it is shown normally on the index page, etc > Some statistics on the main gallery page. How many images, categories, views, etc. > Better pagination, would like to see it the same as the vBulletin thread and board view showing page 1 of 8 and links to others. > Way to sort the images in each gallery (by name, comments, uploaded, etc) > When you view an image include the category and link in the breadcrumb. I would be willing to donate for the above if it could be done, i am using an old forum software and created my own custom gallery with nearly 15,000 images. I managed to import them all to this gallery. |

If you want to move where the forumhome block is displayed, in the settings, set Enable Automatic Deployment to No, then edit your FORUMHOME template and put {vb:raw gallery_fh} where you want it to be displayed. You can replace the orange album picture with something else if you want. Just be sure there is space for the latest image to show. Or if you don't want it to show the album image at all I guess you can try and replace it with a transparent image the same size. Dylan |
