No..just moved the hook . Well made a new one and put it where I wanted but this is a test site so you could be right now that you mentioned it I think it had a issue with the Ajax with out this mod ill check it out when I get home. Thanks.. oh ie9 and ff are the browsers I tested it with

Badshah93.. It was the groan mod even tho it was disabled ..
I was just board long ago playing with it ..
It was disabled but something was messing up the Ajax..
I un-installed it and all works as it should :up:

eagerly awaiting the gold version..

Wow... very nice one. I'll definitelly use the Gold version.
(Being stupid) I've bought DavidsMod Hide hack a few months ago and he's promissing updates since then, but nothing. Basically I've paid 45$ for a mod that doesn't work.
I just realized that real coders offer their work for free, here on vB forum. There are a lot of great coders that do this service just for the love of utility, progression and helping others. (BirdOPrey5 is one of them for example)

I tested a could things
I have
Can Always See Hidden Content If enabled, then user of this group will be allowed to bypass Hide Tags
I set it to no for mods and super mods
and only mods cant view, super mods can see all

and if I set the number of post you need to have to view content, set to 400
I can't view the content with even 600+ post count as a mod
or regular member.. supermod is not set to bypass anything
same settings as mod they see all I even set admins not to be able to bypass and they can see all
I cleared the cache and saved tables to see if that would help..
no go..

If that was intended this way, shouldn't button disappear after the first post?..

no go..
admin and super mods can see all because they have permission to edit that posts which contain hide tags.

only 3 type of users can bypass hide tags

1) thread or post owner
2) Moderator of that section (or admin or super mod)
3) usergroup set in usergroup manager

in showgroup tag, (usergroupid is entered not post count)

The popup window asks to put the amount of posts no ?when you click on the usergroup. Ill look at it when I get home thanks

Hide post and usergroup have the same popup ..is it just me . Well if I put a post count number in usergroup in the first post it will show if the user has more than was added to that tag,if not. They have less then what was added to the group tag it will not show .weird.. but if i do the same thing in The second post it hides... only noticed this because the popup said to add post count instead of usergroup ld

which vb version r u using ?

Vb4.1.12pl1 yes clicking the S pops up the popup for HP about adding post amount to enter not the one in you screen shot

in vb < 4.1.4, popup ask for entering option not post amount .

I'm on.my cell... all I can tell you is that when I get home I'll show ya... the post above I ment that it pops up but no options for user groups like your screenshot .. . Ill past back when i get home from work and I'm on my rig

you didn't get me. Popup which i shown is only possible in ckeditor (vb >= 4.1.4) as i specially made this mod vb >= 4.1.4.

Ok so this mod will only have that pop up if I run Vb4.1.4 ? What pop up should be with the latest vb?

Select usergroup popup will be shown on vb forum which has ckeditor.
ckeditor was implemented on vbulletin >= 4.1.4 or you can say 4.1.04

Uninstalled as not working on my forum (4.11 pl 2), Button image is not showing on ckeditor, Hack is not working on any hide tag. I have give all permission to user. And check all other option but nothing helped. Is this version is issue?

last time file maybe not uploaded properly, thats why you were not getting select popup.

I have a bug :S
When someone want to read a PM, they can't read them.... but when I disable the hack, the users can read them :S
How I can fix it man :S

I just tested this and no errors under any user group
But
If you have "quote PM" any user that uses this to quote a post to another user they can see all the hidden content in the pm
with out thanking or replying to the thread / post
any user group

Quote pm is an other mod. not part of this One.. o did the pm test. To see if i got that error. Its s test sites so I logged in as a user and used the quote post in pm to a user that did not thank or post to a test thread and the pm was readable but since I used this to send the pm. It had the hide code in it and was readable by the user

I installed the Quote Post in PM and continue happening the same problem U_U ohh... I love this hack.. but any user can read PMs .... I gonna disable it U_U uhhmmm... U_U

Edit:
After disable... the users can read the PMs... I tried with a test user U_U
I gonna wait if the next version it works fine....

I added your fix for the quote pm
and it seems to just remove the [hide] tag if you thanked
so who ever the quoted post is sent to now can view the content.

I'm a regular member and I thanked a post with the hide tag for "post thanks"
now I can view the content..

then I quote pm to a user that did not thank to view ..
in the PM he can view the content..

sorry about that, to many log in and out's to see what was going on..

is there any way for you to make it like in the thread to say ***Hidden content cannot be quoted.*** no matter if they thanked or not to the post in the pm?
