hey. i don't know why but version 1.0.4. works now on my site.
good job fillip.! at least in firefox. but it seems not to work using internet explorer. in opera it works too. But i see one issue in this feature: As Moderator you may sometimes not realize that a new posting has been released. maybe there should be added a feature that a mod can see all postings that have been written while the mod was in a special thread?! |

Then I'm sadly unable to replicate this issue :(

Still getting double posts.
Say I load a thread up, someone replies, it shows up as one post, once I do a reply in quick reply, my post is last but the earlier post (which was posted as I was looking at the threas) is duplicated, excellent mod though, thanks |
Ensure you've cleared any cache (browser, server systems like vB Optimise) because this does not happen on the latest version, and there's plenty of posts a day I've tested this with on DBTech.

You appear to have set AJAX Threads to refresh every second. Please adjust that to a higher number as that may be the cause of this problem. As pointed out in the setting, setting it too low will cause problems (slowdown) with the server as well.
The same goes for your "top 10 threads" mod that also updates every second. In addition, I tested it on your forum (Belazor and Belazor2 respectively) and I was unable to replicate your issue. Fillip |
Ok thank you very much for trying this out. I have changed the setting to 5 seconds and the latest threads to 10 seconds again.
|
Cleared my cache and it works fine.
I though I set CCleaner to clean my "chrome" cache but I dadn't!! thanks again, great mod :D |
Im getting this error
Fatal error: Class 'AJAXTHREADS' not found in /home/mfn/public_html/forums/dbtech/ajaxthreads/actions/admin/forum.php on line 21 |
Are you attempting to access that file directly (or has someone else done so)? Because the mod works fine, but direct access of those files is not intended.

I'm sure you do know where it is, since its location was printed in the above error message :)
Does this happen on every AJAX Threads page in the admincp? Fillip |

I get that error on the Forum Manager Tab of the Mod settings and so far is not doing any changes on the forum |
So do you get the error on any other AJAX Threads page in the admincp?

If it's only happening on the "Forum Manager" page of AJAX Threads then it's not a problem with the mod, so there's nothing I can do I'm afraid :(

Thank you
Installed vb 4.17 Nominated how to remove the ad at the bottom of the forum dragonbyte ? Bye |
Installed and working awesome, I remember being on a forum that used something like this.
Next id like to see them add forums not just threads :) |
Just wanted to say this has been working great, glad to see someone come through on a stable version.
|
too bad this is not working for me. I cant even find any options in the forum. I have no clue how to get this to work as I have done the UG settings and the Mod options.:(
vb verswion 4.1.7PL1 |
The options are in vBulletin Options, and you should see the bars on your showthread (when on the last page of a thread that's not closed) assuming you have not turned off the bar in the options.
The mod then silently works in the background :) Fillip |
Nope, thank you for responding Fillip but still not showing up and everything is set correctly on admincp options
|
Are we allowed to remove the copyright? Placing sitewide links in the footer of my forum is out of the question so if you can clarify whether or not it's OK for me to remove your link backs that would be great.
Also, where do we get the pro version? |

Installed and working fine on all styles however if I load the forum in safari on the iPhone the entire page reloads every X seconds as AJAX doesn't seem to work. It renders the site unreadable.
Checked it with FF, Opera and IE using a PC and it's all good. Great job on this mod dragons! |
I am unable to confirm this issue on Safari on iOS 5.0.1 :(

AJAX Threads v1.1.0:
Feature: "Live" image on forumdisplay for threads that have automatic or manual updates enabled Feature: Posts fetched by AJAX Threads are now marked as read Feature: It is now possible to set per-usergroup "duration" before a thread goes "idle" Fillip |
Don't see the point in the Live graphic showing on every thread on the forum, any way to disable this.
|
Disable the threadbit_display plugin for this product :)

Has the latest update removed the Hivelocity Hosting link in the footer as discussed here?
|
Not yet, no :(
(Just to clarify, that post doesn't detail that we would remove the Hivel link, it details a setting to hide it.) Fillip |
AJAX Threads v1.1.1:
Fix: Using "Newest First" post order had multiple deep-rooted issues Fix: Posts deleted when hitting the "max posts" setting should now behave more consistently Change: (Lite) There is now an option to disable the HiVelocity Hosting link if you do not wish to support DragonByte Tech by having it displayed.
