Why can't I be as tired when I go to sleep as when I wake up due to my alarm clock?

The solution to not being tired when your alarm clock goes off is to wake up before it :)

StarBuG 11-09-2011 06:50 PM

I try it every night but damn, my alarm clock is fast.
But I heard that taking longer as man is sometimes a good thing :p

I can't even begin to tell you how much I hate that. When I was in the military, I always woke up to my alarm clock (usually around 0400). Now, being a civilian/veteran, I wake up LONG before my alarm even goes off (most of the time around 0830) since I've gotten so used to waking up before.....well, the rest of the world lol

Alarm clock? What a concept. I worked in the plat/lens shop on a carrier for a bit. The cat track was 24 inches above my head. Every morning they dry fired it to test it. I knew rather sadly that my sleep was over. It sounds like a bus driving at 150 knots with no muffler through your rack.
It was 0500...

I just had drink with whiskey, cherry vodka and coke. And that's all I wanted to say.

Bottled Coca-Cola is the absolute best.

Edit: Correction - The ones in the glass bottles that is!

I hear you :), in fact anythin original is always the best, i can't think of any of my old favourites that were better when they "improved" (code for cut production costs) the product. Just the other day my youngest son came round with some sweets i used to enjoy as a kid:
Blackjacks ( liquorice chews)
Fruit Salads (fruit chews)
Refreshers (Kind of banana tasting chews with sherbert in the middle)
Space ships (sugar paper discs filled with sherbert)

I can honestly say that although they resembled the things i remember they didn't taste a patch on the originals! :(

As my son would say "Seriously?" you mean to tell me I just finished putting the dryer back together a few days ago w/ a new fuse and now the belt breaks that makes the drum turn...

Ohh yeah we have heat but no spinning how classic is that! :p

setishock 11-16-2011 06:08 PM

Sad is when you blow down the driveway and almost finished, it rains.
A tragedy is when it rains so hard the drive is covered in leaves, looking worse than yesterday when I started...

I managed to change mine by working it through the gap between the drum and the door opening (so that I only had to open the "kick panel"), but it wasn't easy and I think I later found out that taking the front off the dryer wasn't very difficult.

This pink skin will be the first skin I post in the Styles section but it takes forever to get all the gray and blue default lines that are in vbulletin. The style generator doesn't remove them all for some reason. What's up with that?

I never thought of that. I don't feel like looking for hearts and stuff though. I am almost done with it so releasing it on or before Valentine's Day is a good idea. This is what it looks like so far. I just gotta find some icons to match.
