Fixing the bugs before new features is always more important. :up:

I currently have 5 dropdown fields and 3 text fields. The dropdown fields are pretty straight-forward as only one selection per field is possible (like bodystyle, transmission etc.)

I also have 3 text fields. Two of these are actually number fields (mileage and model year) and search for a range would be awesome. For example, search for cars between 2003 and 2006 model years or cars between 0 and 30K miles. Pretty much the same as it is currently set up to search for a price range.

Just try again. Happen to me many times with so different mods. Seems that temporary your server went down.

yes for this time is maintenance already 3days re-skin and re-modification all addons
from 3.8.7 upgrade to 4.1.5 database over than 10 GiB :(

I set up a test forum and imported my DB, css, etc from my online forum. I guess I messed up with some permissions, as I had to set my "Store CSS Stylesheets as Files?" in AdminCP to "NO" in order to get everything working.

So now I am testing the Classified Ads by clicking on the tab in the Nav Bar, and I am getting a "you do not have permission to access this page." But I am logged in as an Administrator. I am assuming it has something to do with my mess up and configuration with the CSS Stylesheet setting. Any ideas if I am right, or if it is something else, and how I might fix so I can continue testing? Thanks.

You'll first need to set permissions for each usergroup (including Administrators) to be able to see and use the Classifeds.

A new version (4.9.6) has been released. It's a bug fix release, fixing 2 bugs:

1. Phrase in wrong phrase section caused empty PMs for Auctions.
2. Wrong Mathematical formula in Search (expiration).

1. Upload all file to your site overwriting the old ones
2. Import product-microclassifieds.xml from your admincp marking the overwrite checkbox

Well I want to know that whether the buyer and seller have two different login ?

No. It uses the same login that they've a forum members. Someone can post an Ad as seller but at the same time can buy a product so will be a buyer. That's why there is seperate rating in their profile: "Value as seller" and "Value as Buyer".

When is your time limit to have these done?

We were just about to push our current Classifieds when I found out about your new plans with this software. So we're currently on hold with this and would like to move forward soon. The sooner the better. :)

I'll also add a numeric type extra field and thus the search can be done in a min-max range. If I remember well, you asked something like this.

Small bug. When you edit an ad which has extra dropdown fields, it doesn't show the original selections but defaults back to the first value in the list for that dropdown.

Also, when you save the changes, I am directed to this page. /classifieds/approveads/ It would be nice to go back to the ad you just edited and see the results.

I'll add my enthusiasm for a needed product and for someone who really has some energy to make this a solid application. Caution - don't burn yourself out like so many developers do. :) We need you.

Small bug, I think - before I blew up my test platform it appeared as if I could not edit an ad to make it a premium ad. I placed a test ad as an Admin, but could not get the premium status to stick when going back in and editing.

Small question - Is it possible to hide the Search Box? And do you know what CSS I need to change for the background within the Search Box?

Test platform is back up and I will do some more testing tonight. Do you wish to have an English speaker alert you and make suggestions for better English when I find something that should be corrected, or would sound better if modified? Of course I can do it privately.

Oops Sorry - the premium edit/change now appears to be working with the new version. But probably my error - or else it allowed the switch after I also changed all photos during a test.

Also, I found the CSS to change the background, so I'll probably keep the search box, but for curiosity, can it be hidden?

One more question, can the premium ad photos in the top bar be made larger? I am trying to make them larger for ads I already created. So maybe with the thumbs, etc settings made larger before the ad is entered, will that make a difference?

Found this today. Possible bug?

When klicking on an ad (blue arrow) and entering the ad, only ONE Premuim Ads show on the upper banner?! All other disappear, when you go back, all there again.

It's not a bug. By entering to an Ad, on the same time you are entering in a specific category. The premium ads are coded such a way to show premium on the active category as it has more sense such a way. When you're going back, there is no active category.

This way you can have many premium ads and be sure that they'll appear at least at their own category.

You need to set number "1" on group rights in ACP. Then check the the Premium box in the ad.

Sorry... I've bypassed your post.
1.- I'll check it even if I remember that was working ok, preselecting the current value.
2.- I'll check it. Usally there is a urlid=xx which selects the redirection. Maybe is missing there or has wrong value.
