So if you use that function then you are being recorded (both video and audio) by another site, correct? Then that site has control over how that recording is used? How do you know what they will do with it?

Sorry, but I think that would put me as a site owner in a position of liability by providing a function that would record my site visitors. They may not realize that their recording is actually being done by another site.

I still don't understand the reason why a graphic editor has video and audio recording functions built in. Why doesn't this state that it's a video and audio editor as well? You only mention image editing capabilities in your description. There's nothing stating this can record audio and video from your computer.

It's a nice editor but I'll pass.

First at all, pixlr.com webcam function not record any video or audio of you (exactly in many ways, they can't). Then, let me make a compare...
If you use Facebook, when you want create new avatar, I don't mention other methods, just "Take Photo...", in this case, it is the same, it just take a photo of you, then, upload it to editor for your edit action.
Please don't misunderstood, pixlr.com is the most popular online tools, and why is it still "hot" if users think they are recorded ?

Thank you for using my product !

I'm trying to create an Oz interactive publishing site and this type of magic I will support forever!

Toorak Times 06-16-2012 02:31 PM

I want my members to have fun, most of them are creative types themselves, that's the point of my project, to give budding creatives a venue. Obviously NOT you guys, you are my mentors on how to use vB, like Gio and Dragonbyte Boyz..unreal...

Toorak Times 06-16-2012 03:55 PM

Disco Stu...does it matter...we are still creating the future here, as it turns out all you vB afficiandos are the 'duck's guts' of creativity. What is happening here amongst the vB community is extraordinary...now if you gen X/Y guys keep going even this decaying Baby Boomer ( and remember we are supposed to be 10 years behind youse guys in Oz...lmfao...culturally) you will have lots of fun in edumacating us/me noobs.

Youse peeps are my gods as I stumble thru vB, Russian, Scots, French, Vietnamese aaand an Aussie!

Just thanks!

Disco_Stu 06-16-2012 07:42 PM

You like the product. We get the message. Not sure why you're belaboring the point but to each his own. You can do whatever you want for your site. Enjoy.

As a site and business owner I'm always concerned with legal liabilities. There's always someone out there with some sleazy lawyer ready to sue for the least little thing.

It's not necessary to fill this thread with any more comments directed my way.

nico_2007 06-24-2012 08:06 PM

Splendid!!! It's really a wonderful plugin for vBulletin 4.2!

Thanks a lot, mate!

Does this let people edit photos already in their album? And does it allow them to save the file directly to their album when done? Or is this more of a bridge to view the web site "inside" your own forum pages?

anwar513 05-02-2013 02:29 PM

Great!Thank you very much.
considered vb5?

Make sure the file, graphiceditor.php is in your forum root, it should be in the zip file that you downloaded.

Hello everyone!

Considering you guys really interesting at this addon, and more, I'm going to build a better version of this, keep in mind that as a pro for free :)

Nothing detail right now, but, something for sure is : more version of vB would be compatible (except for vB 3, I'm so tired of it), more build-in features that powering your community (deeper intergrate, like every images can be edit right in one click LOL).

Just that, thanks for your supporting :)

garybrun 05-12-2014 07:17 AM

I have installed it on my site and it works well.
I would like to be able to turn of Your vbulletin 4 Copyright... but still have copyright 2014 BCP Hung as I think it takes away the uniqness. Or the ability to purchase brand free.

Its about copyright stuff, I don't have any option on this version so far, but, as of incoming version, I will take a place for branding-free payment :D

As a publisher I love this idea, as my volume of members increase I think they will find this a valuable attribute. Hopefully someone will come up with an enhanced editor like indesign, but more basic obvs

addamroy 05-14-2014 11:15 AM

Is there a way to control what options a user has for images?

I would like users to be able to use only specific images I provide (maybe let them change or add text to them). Ie, not images from computer, URL, facebook etc... Is that possible?

Brilliant mod, anything integrated to Blogs and CMs is appreciated, Calendars are a much overlooked and powerful attribute no one cares about, can't even upload a pic from your computer, which sucks for musos wanting to promote their gigs and can't figure out what a URL is, let alone how to upload one.

BCP Hung 05-14-2014 05:08 PM

I'm hearing you guys. Leave your ideas here, I'll diggin' into it :D

Toorak Times 05-17-2014 10:25 AM

Any integration with the WYSIWYG would be wonderful

anwar513 05-20-2014 03:21 AM

Development is still going along with recent breaking-changes from product dependencies (vBulletin, PHP, origin services). And, please give me time, this is not my mainstream working line.

Detailed, I have done product structure and general functions, but, I have to deal with attachment system, this really a headache to me. I don't want to directly touch into core tables, so, I make my move to create other tables, but this also involving to whole system performance.

So, give me hands ;) I really want to hear from you guys :D
