What menu?

When you hover over the button I meant. Thanks! This will save me lots of room!

Nominated Mod of the Month.

I know this sounds like extra but would you consider allowing padding for individual styles or would that be a paid mod?

Yes, you change that via the vbulletin options as well.

I'm not sure about this one. I might do another rewrite of this if I have time, I've been working on my other modifications, and working on coding some other stuff for my site. So, IF I decide to code this in, it probably won't be soon.

HMBeaty 07-09-2011 11:26 PM

Ok, I lied lol.

1.6.0 coming in a few minutes

HMBeaty 07-09-2011 11:35 PM

Let me know how it works :)

I broke my test site after playing around with another one of my modifications (oops lol :D), so I couldn't test it on other styles, but there shouldn't be any reason why it shouldn't work correctly.

8thos 07-10-2011 01:11 AM

K I'll try it now! At work so I can't access my server but if you can really do imagepaths through stylevars then that's all I need.

8thos 07-10-2011 01:18 AM

Okay I wasn't able to upgrade everything in the product as I have no access to my server at the moment but I will check this out and show you how it goes when I get home. Thanks a lot! You really went above and beyond with this mod. I plan on replacing the chat menu I have up now with a tinychat icon using your Navbar networks mod.

Jake99 07-24-2011 05:34 PM

Ok so you know how this plug appears in the navbar? right ? well I was wanting to know how can I make it appear next to the facebook connect button at the top of the page?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

HMBeaty 08-03-2011 07:18 PM

Updated to version 1.7.0 :D
Quote:

1.7.0 (03 AUG 2011)
- Added the option to show in the header.
- Added Myspace.

HMBeaty 08-03-2011 07:34 PM

Small error I forgot to fix on the xml before I uploaded the new one. So if you already downloaded 1.7.0, redownload and just reimport the xml

tidus78 08-03-2011 08:01 PM

Don't work on my vb 4.1.5

I uploaded files and imported xml but nothing..

Only thing that would cause it to not work if you did the above, is if you didn't turn it on in the AdminCP vBulletin Options

tidus78 08-03-2011 09:18 PM

It's on

If you'd like me to have a look for you, send me a pm or email with AdminCP and FTP login details and I'll try to see if I can figure out what's going on. This has worked since vBulletin 4.1.3 on all of my test installations

Update: Looks just fine to me. However, those "blank" navtabs you have in your navbar were pushing the network icons behind the search bar, so I just moved it to show in the header.

tidus78 08-03-2011 10:13 PM

Ah ok.....thanks a lot!

8thos 08-04-2011 05:04 PM

Hi. You took away the ability to add your own custom message when hovering over the link. Can you add them back with your next update and if not, how do I change it?

I didn't take anything away. Check the stylevars ;)

8thos 08-04-2011 07:35 PM

K thanks man!

AttalaEA 08-11-2011 05:24 PM

It doesn't work in vb 4.1.5 PL1 and the icons did not show up anywhere.

Where also the adjustment of the icons locations and sizes i.e. left, right......

It DOES work in 4.1.5 PL1 as that is what I use it on. Did you read and follow the instructions? Everything you need to know is in the readme ;)

garyopa 08-12-2011 05:19 PM

The only problem I having, is I wish for it to APPEAR if the browser is NOT LOGGED IN.

Even after I unchecked all the NO WANT usergroups, still if you are guest browsing, none of the icons or links appear.

Once you logged in, everything works, all the icons and links appear.

EDIT: Ok, update.

If I have it set to NAVBAR, everything works, even if you are guest browsing, they are appearing and linking.

But if set to HEADER, nope, only logged in users can see them.

Oh'well, I like it in the NAVBAR better anyway.

Thanks for easy to use and easy to customize, and simple to install product.

Works great.

Thanks! I'll still have a look at the issue with the header though :)

HMBeaty 08-13-2011 04:54 AM

Version 1.8.0 released with the header bug fixed :D

BlessedFWI 08-13-2011 08:43 AM

I imported the 1.8 XML Version and it still isn't showing in the header for guests. Did I miss something? Thanks in advance!

Do you have the Facebook platform enabled?

rfi 08-15-2011 10:08 PM

It's not possible to show that error if the files have been uploaded to the correct directories. If you'd like me to take a look, send me a PM with FTP & AdminCP login details and I'll see what I can do :)

Bluefin221 08-19-2011 02:35 PM

How do you go about changing one of the links, for example I do not use skype for my site but would like to change it to something else, the image part is easy but how do I change it so it requests a URL like the facebook part or the myspace part as currently it looks for a skype profile if that makes sense?

You would have to change it in: includes/hooks/navnet/parse_templates.php

Thanks I got it.

Just to let you know there is a slight issue when you use facebook connect, once its logged in it overlaps with the icons.

Bluefin221 08-19-2011 08:06 PM

Found quite a large problem. People cannot click the login field or password field when this mod is installed.

First time I've heard of this since first releasing it.

1. What version of vBulletin are you running?
2. Do you get the same results when using the vBulletin default style?
3. Try disabling any other modifications you may have (one at a time) and see if you still have this issue.
4. Do you get the same results if the icons are in the header?
5. Do you get the same results if the icons are in the navbar?

Never mind got it thanks man its great

Alan_SP 09-23-2011 09:39 PM

I noticed you linked text with stylevars, not with language.

I think this is bad solution, especially for multilingual sites. Users can change language, but not style and they will have same message. We will have to make different styles for different languages this way.

Please, place phrases back with languages.

HMBeaty 10-06-2011 06:34 PM

Updated to 1.9.0 :)
Quote:

1.9.0 (06 OCT 2011):
- Bug fixed.
- Alt (hover) text has been moved to the phrases for easy translation for multilingual boards.
