This is exactly what I've been needing. I've made some updates to the form (upgraded from IP Board to vBulletin 4), changed URL and made some other major changes. But the threads I've created on the subject has fallen through the cracks. This is a way for me to update everyone on the changes I've made and be relatively sure they've seen it.

I have the same problem. 40.000 users and the server gets problems while sending 500 email notifications per batch. and i do not want to klick hundred times the "next" button.

There were problems during installation:

1. Upload all files in folder upload to ther respective directories on your webserver. Done.

2. Go to ACP / Plugins & Products / Manage Products and import product-mass_pm.xml. Error. Invalid File Specified

I have this Love it works great, but we are trying to have multiple groups use this Permission Without having them have all the other Admin Permissions that come along with the group its placed in on the Admin Panel. Is there ANY way to make this possible? We have VB4.1.11

Instead of HTML you can use the vBulletin markups to achieve the same effect. For example, if you want to include clickable links in your pm, use the URL tags that you would use creating a thread or post (vbulletin.org doesn't let me type the actual tags, they won't show up in this post.). This works for other things like images, etc.

Since these are PM's, HTML (I think) is usually disabled by default in vBulletin. You could try enabling it for your usergroups or whatever (maybe just the administrator?) and then try sending out an HTML pm to users and see if it uses the HTML markup.

For those with mysql has gone away errors when trying to send a lot of PM's - you will need to increase these limits in your MySQL settings to (found in my.cnf in the /etc/ folder in your root directory of your server):

interactive_timeout=28000
wait_timeout=28000
connect_timeout=28000

My defaults are much less, but I increase them to send 40,000 pm's, then revert them back to what they are normally.

You'll want to contact your host to change these if you don't know how - but under a shared hosting account you may not be able to.

I do get the error "Please go back and fill out all required fields" even though all fields are required, and it already spent 10 minutes sending out PM's. Seems more like a script error than anything else.

How do I permently uncheck the usergroup options for guests and waiting email confirmation. These persons will never be sent a pm.

I installed and it works great, I wanted to use the pm instead of mass emailing my member to stay off of the spammers blacklist.

But now my problem is that when the pm's are sent , everyone gets an email from my forum saying they just got a pm, so how do I stop the notification email to members when I send them all a pm.

I would love to see a 'check all' and 'uncheck all' button on the send PM page. Kind of annoying unclicking them all when you only want to send to a couple of usergroups.

Also a bbcode editor attached would be great so we don't have to manually type bbcode to format our messages.

i have installed this plugin , all went smooth, but the issue is i cant see the "Send PM to Users" option in ACP - users, what to do ? how to fix this issue plz suggest

1 - Although i have tried to uninstall the mod and then reinstalled but the problem remains same,
2 - Already iam using Kbank mod and that mode is heaving a file named as "cpnav_kbank.xml" in /upload/includes/xml
is this file causing issue ? please help me resolving the above issue.....
